✼ - Do you think the character/characters you role play as reflect who you are?
Absolutely not. Viktor Nikiforov is a muse of mine, a fictional character who exists in a fictional universe. There are traits of his that I admire, but there are also things about him that I absolutely do not endorse or promote doing (alcoholism being a big one).
That said, I have multiple muses that I play, all from different backgrounds, beliefs, and personalities. While I may see parts of myself, or play parts of myself in the characters (as far as beliefs or parts of their story that aren’t already established in canon), that does not mean they are a reflection of who I am as a person.
As far as what they DO reflect about me, I would say my ability to write and see things from a perspective outside my own, definitely. And taking on muses that are so different from who I am in real life has been a huge help in allowing me to grow both as a writer and even as a person; allowing me to try different points of view.
But in the end, I am me, and Viktor is Viktor. And what I post here does not reflect who I am.

My favorite animal is a penguin. I know they aren’t graceful, but man are they cute!!
After several minutes of contemplating whether to text her or not, Misyel-min finally gives in and types out her message.
M: Hey, Aurelia Mueller, this is Misyel-min Lee. I was asking some friends for a recommendation for a composer and most of them suggested that I commission you to compose the piece. Is there any possibility that you could compose the song for my dance?
She reads over text and deletes most of it. Too formal.
M: Hey, Aurelia, this is Misyel-min, SG’s sister. I asked some of my friends to suggest a composer and they told me to contact you. So here I am! So is it possible if I could commission you to compose me a song?
Could be better. Misyel checks it for grammatical errors. She taps the send button waits for a reply.

Aurelia and Minami had been texting back and forth in the five days since their kind-of-date. They never really decided what it was, but he’d like to think of it as one. His heart got happy every time her name popped up on his screen, stirring up the butterflies in his stomach. If you saw him smiling to himself, 9 times out of 10 it was because of her.
He’d been turning it over in his head since the morning after. What was their next date going to be? He knew he was going to ask her on one, (whether or not she said yes was up to her). He panicked slightly at the idea that she might say no, but he brushed it off, and told him self to get ahold of himself. He could do this. He took a deep breath and started composing the text.
M: I have a proposition for you. So, I’m assuming that you had some measure of fun while we were at dinner the other day, and the fact that you’re still texting me is a good sign. So, um, I guess what I’m trying to say is, um. Would you like to go on a date with me?
His faced blushed a deep crimson and he hit send before he could change his mind. He put his phone face down on his bed with the volume on, and buried his face into his pillow.
