Wedding Organ

((Mun note: @ask-bangle-tiger​ @thestaticsquirrel​ - since your muses are mentioned and shown in the drawing, I just wanted to give your blogs a mention!))

Her thoughts couldn't stop racing, even long after she was asked to play the organ for Static and Bangle's wedding. The thought of all the guests watching her play and then end up messing up the performance was one of the things that made her scared of doing it. More often than not Velma asked herself if this was going to go well or not, but tonight she was going to ask Kat if she had an organ she could try to play, even if only for one night. 

She knew the bride and groom of the wedding well, but she had never told them or even shared her piano skills with them. When it came to playing piano, she often played it alone or for those very close to her, but never in front of a huge crowd like she thought the wedding would become. She took a deep breath and tried to look for Kat, hoping to find her within walking distance. 

She couldn't seem to find Kat, but instead found the lights on in her house, that meant that she was home! She knocked on the door as she didn't want to barge in just in case she wasn't available at the moment. A light emerged, and from that light was Kat, as she came to the door to greet Velma. 

"Velma! Hello!" Kat waved, letting Velma inside. "What did you come here for tonight?" She asked, with a curious expression. 

"U-umm.. I-I was a-asked by a-a friend n-named Static t-to play t-the organ f-for his w-wedding, blih.." Velma started to ask Kat about the organ but was then interrupted. 

"That's so cool!! You get to show your amazing piano skills to everyone!" Kat's eyes sparkled. 

"B-blih...!! I-I'm very n-nervous, blih... I-I'm scared I-I'll mess u-up and e-embarrass myself, blih.. b-but.." She blushed and then started to ask Kat about the organ. "D-do you h-have an o-organ that I-I could p-practice with, blih...? I-I'll take g-good care o-of it, blih..!" 

"I do! It's somewhere in my storage, just let me get it for you!" Kat waved her wand, with the organ in mind, she brought Velma the organ in the form of a leaf that could shift into the organ whenever she needed it. 

"T-thank you, blih... I-I'm still n-nervous but.. n-now with t-this organ I-I feel a-a bit b-better, blih.." 

"If you ever need someone to talk with about being nervous or just wanna talk, feel free to come over again okay, Velma?" 

"O-okay, blih..!" Velma nodded, smiling a little. 

"I believe that you can play it well! I believe that Static believes in you too if he asked you to play it too." Kat smiled back. 

They then said their goodbyes, and now with the organ furniture leaf in hand, she found her heart pounding both from nervousness and excitement. She was happy for the future newlyweds, yet nervous about her performance. She was going to do her very best. For the wedding, for Kat, for Static, for those who believed in her. Even if she still had fear of messing up, she now knew she had others by her side.
