💕 Fenice doesn’t like physical affection from people, with a select few exceptions. Her mother, her governess/nursemaid, and her Daelos (her mentor/guide/protector). Even then, only her mother-- and on occasion, her governess--gave her really intimate affection like hugs or kisses on the forehead. Most of the time, physical affection was more conservative and subtle. Calming hand on the shoulder, brushing over one’s knuckles, that kind of thing. There isn’t really a lot of reason for her dislike of physical affection. She’s just not the type.

🍂 Fenice’ favorite season is autumn. The world starts to turn into shades of red and gold (her favorite colors), the weather turning just the right temperature of pleasant chilliness, and the festivity during harvest season just makes the lands have that calm, vibrant feel to it.

🏞️ If Fenice had the chance, she would visit the great plains of Taul and see for herself the very lands her mother grew up in. She would visit the semi-nomadic groups of the Iskavaar and witness one of the tribe’s greatest feats since the dawn of creation: windwalking. Would she live there? No. I don’t think she could ever imagine a life without the comforts she grew up in.

30, 35, 40, and 48 for Fenice!

30. When it comes to the arts, Fenice is definitely a lover of dance. Sure, she may not have the stamina for a lot of the more complex/well-known dances (ballet, jazz, hip hop, if we’re going to compare it with our world), but she is one of the most graceful people you can watch do a court dance. She loves the graceful precision of each step, each turn, each flourish of the hand; how two people can do the exact same dance and still be different. It also stems from watching her mother perform dance rituals in honor of the Taulan gods. Though vastly different from the synchronized grace of courtly dances, her mother’s dance spoke of something wild, untamed, ever-changing and fluid like the wind. There have been many times when Fenice wished she could dance like her mother. Beautiful, vivacious, and completely uncaring of the rest of the world.

35. She’s already considered dead in the eyes of more religious zealots and superstitious people, is if there is anything Fenice is afraid of, it is not death. What she truly fears is dying without having accomplished nothing. For years living in that manor, there would be days where she’d contemplate the rest of her life, wondering if her fate was merely to live and die as some insignificant speck in the grand scheme of things. Fenice would prefer dying peacefully in her sleep at a very old age, safe and secure in the knowledge that she made her mark on history and the world for generations to come. 

40. Guilty pleasure? Well, she doesn’t have anything she’s particularly embarrassed about, just a bit insecure in indulging it because of its seemingly frivolous nature. Fenice likes clothes. She likes admiring different fabrics and dyes, examining the handiwork of tailors and seamstresses, and admiring the complex embroideries of gown and haberdasheries and fans. Dressing in them is just a bonus.

48. Fenice absolutely envies her younger brother Charles to the point of loathing. But then again, I can see why. It is Charles that gets to have both mother and father. It is Charles that is respected as prince. It is Charles that fulfilled the most basic requirement of having magic. It is Charles that gets to be the heir of the throne despite being younger. It is Charles that gets to be good enough for everyone just because he was born normal. Meanwhile, Fenice was left behind. Forgotten in some dusty manor, far away from her rightful station, all because of something out of her control.

Honey I'm Home

Castiel and Maddie would make a beautiful couple, loving each other and showing that in each tender caress. Castiel would strive to be better man, a softer man for her and she, his angel, would always stand by his side, offering him words of comfort and praise when he feared being a monster. Just like he would for her.

Still, it wouldn't work, for they had been on this path before and Maddie's fear of being pushed aside for a Dean would make her suspicious as well. Castiel would always feel guilty for what happened in the past and he would walk on egg-shells around her, never saying what's troubling him when it comes to her, out of fear of hurting her more than she already has been.

They would be with the only one who would be able to understand all of the other, and still they wouldn't be able to be just themselves. Their love would be a painful enigma, despite the bittersweet moments that leave them craving for more. It is a hopeless marriage.

27.) Pick two songs that describe your character at two different points of their life, and explain why you chose them.

Broken up with Dean, he worked out his frustrations by killing a whole town with Katherine, and later a whole Gym with Lilith. The mind games he played with the children before killing them were pure evil and later, when Dean had gotten wounded, he seeked vengeance for his lover's fate, dying in the process. Also, Castiel often identified himself with this song in the beginning, so it truly is important for three different reasons.

This signifies the time where he was dating Madison, but had fallen in love with Dean. He knew his heart was with Dean, but the man kept trying to push him back to Maddie, where as Maddie received him with open arms but he had noticed the changes inside himself: the lesser visits, their intimacy growing rarer...Still, he tried to do the best and tore himself apart trying to do right by both of them. For example verse one = Maddie/ verse 2=Dean...

10.) Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable

Many things have happened already and there have been many twists in Castiel's story, but the most important ones are:

Future Dean no longer supporting him and casting him aside => Castiel becomes the darkest creature in his history so far.

The arrival of both Madison as Dean Win => They came around the same time, and losing his heart to them, he wanted to be a better man for them. He became a somewhat rude Castiel to strangers, but kind to those he embraced into his life.

The worst Dean Win/Evil Cas break up => Castiel lost it and fell back into his old routine. In the company of Lilith and Katherine, he went on several massacres.

Starting over => A new relationship with Dean has made him the most human that he's ever been, fear of being abandoned again a great factor in how quiet and loving he's become. Still, being surrounded with many great friends also has managed to soften Castiel.
