Once upon a time, there was a lovly kingdom called One Piece. The ruler was a man named Roger and his beloved wife, Rouge. They had three children. The first was a blond haired male called Sabo. He was only five yet he acted like a 10-year-old boy, reading and writing, he seemed very smart and wise. Next was a freckled hair son with a hot temper. He went by the name of 'Ace' and was four-years-old. He didn't like to takes baths and he hated wearing his t-shirt! The last was a newborn baby girl with raven hair and a sweet little giggle, her name was 'Luffyko'. The family of five loved each other very much and filled the kingdom with peace and happiness. The townsfolk adored them. Everything was great intill the day of the youngest child's first birthday: May 5th.
That day, a man named Garp broke in to the castle and kidnapped the one-year-old girl, calming that her hair would hold to power to his youth. The man was old but had a strong built and body, not to mention that he use to be the head of the Knight's Army. He manged to escape the king's men and flee the village of One Piece. The villagers were so sadden by their king's and queen's heartbreak that they all decided to see if possibly, they could some how lead the princess back to the kingdom. They did this by creating a new holiday. Every year on May 5th, everyone would light a lantern and set it off in to the sky, in hopes that Luffyko would one day return to them.
Garp raised Luffyko away from the world, locked up in a tall tower with no exit but a small window in the center of the forest. She had been forced to grow her raven hair out long, so long in fact that she could use it as a jump rope by age ten!
She was now 17-years-old and wanted nothing more then adventure! Her only friend was a small, brown lizard that she had named 'Usopp' Her grandpa was almost never home, thought, since today was her birthday, he was! She was so happy not to be alone.
"What would you like for your birthday?" The older man asked. All in all, he was an okay grandpa but he was just strict and could be cold at times.
"ADVENTURE, MEAT AND TO CUT MY HAIR!~" Luffyko yelled without a moments hesation. That was what she always wanted and yet, that was what she never got. She knew that the moment she asked, she would resive a 'fist of love' from the man, which she did. "Oww~" The 17-year-old sniffed.
"Never. And I mean NEVER cut your hair." The grandpa mused firmly. What would he do if he didn't have that hair anymore? He'd die for sure! It was that hair that kept him alive and well. Each night, he'd sing to the raven curles, making them happy. In return, the hair gave him youth, something he wanted forever. "I can get you meat, what kind of animal?" The man questioned.
"Hmm... Dove meat?" The raven questioned, a hopeful glint in her eyes. She loved food and meat though, she had never had Dove meat since it was very rare and hard to find.
"Find. I'll be gone for a little while then. That stuff is hard to find but nothing a great knight can't do." The old man reassured and with that, he had Luffyko throw down her hair and let him exit the tower. The 17-year-old sighed and looked to Usopp who sat on her shoulder.
"Wanna play tag?"
