So excited about recent developments in Curse of Strahd. I decided early on (and especially since my players drew the tarokka card for the location of the sword to be in Sergei’s tomb) that the Sunsword has Sergei’s spirit inside.
Our paladin who has the sword finally was able to commune with him in this kinda weird spiritual place within the sword and it was absolutely magical and trippy.
and here’s the rest of our DnD party feat a slightly tweaked Strahd as per DM’s request :3
this thing is called bai-bao-jia.The Chinese used it to store flat items about a hundred years ago.
if you wanna look up how to make one, search for zhen xian bao
Sorcery and super cool
Google turns up more results searching under “thread book” - and using one of these to keep embroidery thread organized sounds absolutely *brilliant* http://www.libertygrovepaperarts.com/chinese-thread-books.html

Imagine
An orc with battle scars and who is massive, falling for the tiny human who works as a barmaid in a tavern. She is the embodiment of sunshine and had no idea that orcs are supposed to be feared. The orc mistakes her friendliness for fearlessness and thinks she is the bravest human he has met. The barmaid is oblivious to this and is just incredibly kind, (which is brave in its own way). In reality the barmaid has a lot of fears and is a normal fragile human . The Orc finds out about this and surprisingly falls harder for this human. He makes it his job to protect this human and the whole tribe looks out for this tiny human. So this tiny bottle of sunshine has a whole tribe of scary orcs protecting her and she just thinks they are super friendly.
I'm not sure what this is but if anyone wants it I might turn it into a full story.
I know anything I post with them will immediately be derailed by Superman’s fat tits so here they are all in one so everyone can get it out of their system

A Thing:
-many disabilities are worsened or triggered into flares by stress
-stress often occurs when other people are counting on you and there's a crunch to get things done
-employers regularly understaff, creating constant dependency on particular people and creating unneeded crunches
-disabled people become "unreliable" and "unhireable" because they have disabilities and cannot safely deal with the mandatory crunches
-on top of that, the crunches give previously abled people disabilities, shunting them into "unhireable"
-dismantle capitalism and care for your community members
