How did you get in to poetry?

Uh…yeah nah yeah it was sort of a case of “I’m going through a lot of shit that I can’t talk about directly with people”.

This was for a few reasons. Some things were quite secret and I was not at liberty to talk about them for fear of incriminating myself, others I felt I couldn’t directly talk about without it seeming like a cry for help, or an attempt to be noticed or receive attention.

Essentially I started writing shit in poetry form to almost cryptically express my disdain (or love) for what I was going through without arousing suspicion or concern or whatever. It’s…become a release of sorts and is now more multi-purpose, but that’s what got me bashing my head on 2kg of brushed aluminium and some keys.

After a brief glance at his new abilities, would it be in the right ballpark to say that Taric works a lot like a chunkier Bard?

When i asked one of my roommates his opinion on the re-work his first gameplay thought he said to me was “So what’s the point of bard now?”

You could probably say something of the sort in being a ‘chunkier bard’ but it’s all different usability. Bard scales well in having a line stun/slow, along with meeps for damage and more slows. Bard also can start/set up fights with his teammates.

Taric in reality, probably wants to be a lot more defensive, and punish overextensions. He has both a shield AND heal for allies, providing him with a lot of sustain (not to mention an invlun ult). His ranges are a bit shorter in general, so working to force will be a lot trickier.

I really do like iceborn gauntlet on him to help provide some more CC, but overall I think CDR is going to be a necessary stat in addition to just general defensive stats.
