I'm coming across so many theories and there are several CoHF excerpts out apparently, but I want to wait till hopefully this fall when the publishing house for Clare in my country believe they will have the translation ready. It's just that the Morgensterns (who are always four in my mind, aka Jace is excluded) are one of my top 3 fave fictional families. The dynamics between them are crazy awesome to read and explore further!
ah i'm glad!oh yeah? that kinda stinks that you have to wait even longer!if you don't want spoilers, i suggest getting xkit or even tumblr savior just in case you don't wanna accidentally read something, because i know a lot of people are gonna spill it all the moment they read it, haha!but i have plenty of theories myself, none too original as there can only be so many you know? but it's always interesting to hear some new ones, or more thought out versions of your typical ones. i'm really hoping for a scene where clary kinda goes dark, because that's sorta what that image implies also, though once again, i could be over examining it. the morgensterns are my favorite fictional family. i'm not a huge reader, so i can't really compare (at least i haven't been dedicated to a series until TMI/TID, i usually read just novels). but they definitely have this weirdness to them that also make them seem a bit aristocratic ?? and that's always appealing to me for some reason. i mean to be honest, the family was doomed for evil i mean their last name literally translates to morningstar, which is the translation of lucifer, and the parallels between jonathan christopher and lucifer are really....well, a bit uncanny haha.
(different anon) My speculation is somewhat different of that scene - there was a spoiler about us finding out that would would have happened if Sebastian grew up together with Clary - what if that dark!Clary thing is a universe where Valentine raised both of them?
i was really considering the fact that they might be introduced to another "timeline" or "alternate universe", but it seemed kind of bizarre to throw that in with this type of story. although there are angels and demons that lore describes as capable of manipulating time, so i guess it isn't entirely out there? but it really just....kind of doesn't really feel right. though i've always had the idea in mind. but that spoiler i feel like is possibly a being showing clary what would have happened if they grew up as a family had valentine not corrupted jonathan. i don't think they get to live that experience, but that clary is shown a vision of what could have been. but then again what you're saying could be very true! because when this tmi tuesday stuff started going down, that was one of the first things she posted (well, she reposted that) and said that each postcards are a scene from the book, so if that's a scene then something's going down with clary. and there is blood on those thrones, and she seems pretty pampered on that throne there haha. fur coat, kind of confident on that throne next to her brother, looking really...royal there. something is going on, for sure.

hi there nonnie! here is the original post, including picture and the description below! it even mentions that they're in the same room, just both with a differentview on the outside world. more than likely my speculation is just an over observation & the like, but it's still an interesting one none the less! it also mentions that this is a scene from the book (or am i wrong?), so that kind of makes me giddy. if anything i thought that was jocelyn at first, not clary, but it says that's both jonathan and clary. my friend and i also want to kind of think that clary goes dark for a period of the book. all just speculations. uwu i'm rambling;; but there you go friend!this wasn't a bother at all.
