Liu thinks their friendship is just as close as his friendship with Heather, but doesn’t realize that they’ve been keeping a lot from each other so it’s no where near close.
If it weren’t for Alex, he probably wouldn’t feel confident enough to wear feminine clothing or dip his toes into makeup. Or if he did, it would have taken years later. He is just not very confident in his appearance, but Alex has certainly helped to start turning things around.
If Liu can ever convince Alex to spend a day together to just chill and not fuck, I feel like they’d probably watch The Great British Bake Off or Nailed It. And they’d probably play with each other’s hair and one of them might doze off.
Alex is such a source of comfort for Liu, which is one reason he keeps his mouth shut when he catches feelings for him. Like even if they don’t tell each other everything, they have moments where they get vulnerable and not once has Liu regretted doing so with him.
And I’m writing some for Will bc I’m a ho for headcanons and uhhh I stan one (1) incubus:
Even if he doesn’t feel as close to him as he does with Heather, Liu feels SUPER comfortable around him. Mostly because they’re both demon bois, so he doesn’t have to worry about hiding certain things.
The only reason Liu constantly steps outside of his comfort zone as of late is to prove Will wrong. Like “Oh, you don’t think I’m going on that roller coaster? GUESS AGAIN”
You know that whole meme where a smol runs up to a tol knowing full well the tol will have to drop whatever is in their hand to catch them BUT DOES IT ANYWAY? That’s Liu with Will. Also, Liu just likes bring carried by people way taller than him.
Liu secretly worries for Will constantly because he’s hiding such a big secret in plain sight. Like sweet, demon friend bUT OH MY GOD DUDE YOU’RE GONNA GET IN SO MUCH TROUBLE PWEASE KEEP IT DOWN
