With a picnic basket of red velvet cake and red wine, Mirana unlocked the door to Booker’s apartment and stepped inside. It had been a few years since they both had keys to each other’s apartments but thought nothing of it than a place she could crash after a night out or to raid his fridge after a long day teaching classes. Now it was to plan out their Holiday charade and she could not have been more excited to find out how they were actually going to pull it off. The only problem... she had not been in any serious relationship for quite some time, more like a decade, and even that was not as serious to her. One might say she had no idea how to act “girlfriend material" as it always seemed like she just wanted to have her fun and when things felt like it was getting too serious, she would often drown herself in her work and end up moving on to the next date. She knew Booker had more experience with the serious relationship department, she realized she needed a lot of work to make sure the appearance of them dating was believable.
