The first day of the year crept in slowly and gradually, the warmth of the Alola sun slipping through a crack in the drapes and bringing some much needed warmth into the AC chilled room, and as the sun climbed higher and higher the song of wild Oricorio, Pikipek and Trumbeak began to ring throughout the Hano Grand Resort.

Professor Theodore Elm was still deep in slumber but very slowly starting to awake. The last thing he remembers from last night was calling his wife and son back in Johto to wish them a happy new year (He reminded himself he needed to get gifts for both of them before leaving Alola)

"Calm down and go back to sleep" Augustine murmured, covering his eyes with his arm.

Teddy shook his head "No, I need to know what happened last night"

Teddy turned to look at Augustine "I refuse to believe I fucked you"

"Ah, it's 9AM. We need to go get breakfast before breakfast closes for the day" as he languidly stretched like a very content Persian.

"How?" Teddy said as he bit the inside of his mouth.

"Hotels usually serve complimentary breakfast until a certain hour" he said as he looked funny at Teddy.

Teddy pinched his nose bridge "No, how did we all end up fucking"

Augustine smiling "It's a bit blurry but you pressed yourself against me, and my hypothesis that you have a big cock got proven, not to mention I got to suck on Bubbas breasts" he said with a purr

Friday night in Sandgem. Usually Professor Oskar Rowan would still be busy or would be winding down by reading stories from his personal secret stash. Lucas was out of town on vacation, and the silence of the lab was only occasionally by the soft sound of Kricketot.

Oskar was already bored out of his mind.

'Maybe I can talk to Charon' before remembering he broke off with him, joined a terrorist organization, and was now in jail. So he was probably not willing to talk.

'Maybe text Samuel or Magnolia' as his brain quickly shut down that idea, no he did not, and he has never thought about them.

Maybe talk to one of his previous flings who had all somehow gotten his phone number? Although most of them did not even live in his same time zone, they might be having gym duties, or school or tending a garden.

As he opened Swablutter he got an ad for a bar in Jubilife. 'LAST FRIDAY MADNESS, GET 4 DRINKS FOR THE PRICE OF TWO, SPECIAL OF THE DAY IS THE MUZZARELLA COCK WAFFLE, COME ON DOWN TO THE URSARING CAVE'

Oskar arrived at the Ursaring Cave pretty soon, and sat down on the bar, asking for a Blue Margarita.

From across the bar he heard a voice "Alone on a Friday night?"

He turned to look. A young man with blue hair, a white flat cap and a V-Neck Liepard print shirt looked at him and gave a little smirk.

"Maybe I'm just here for business" Oskar said as the young man moved closer.

"What business would a renowned Pokemon professor have at a gay bar?" The twink said as he took a long, uninterrupted sip from his cocktail until he finished the drink, never taking his eyes off Oskar.

"Hmm… Let's see… I used to be a regular here a long time ago, I needed to make sure the quality was still good"

"Does it still hold up?" The young man said inching closer.

"Maybe I need help determining that" Oskar said as his hand brushed against the young man's.

"We should discuss this somewhere private Professor" He practically purred as he got up.

"My name is Proton. Care to come with me?"

Hythlodaeus can't help but watch the warrior. So different they are from the confident figure that stood up to Emet, a warrior still unaware of the horrors of the final days. And yet, their attention seems to be elsewhere, Hythlodaeus notes. Even with their subtle suspicion of Emet and Venat, they still seem far more concerned with something else.

Hythlodaeus doesn't know what to think. A world completely unfamiliar to him, and he can't even reach the warrior they came here to meet.

Their eyes are as bright as the soul within them—colorful, dancing even with an energy so changed from the one that he and Emet had originally met. Or, more accurately, the soul he sees now is the one that flourished before the multitudes of trials that fate had forced upon it. Before the warrior was more than a simple adventurer-turned-scion. Maybe even earlier than that.

They are so close, so painfully close… but there is no force in the world that can pull memories from them that simply do not exist yet. An somehow that realization feels… lonely.

(Random message but hey) The deathly afraid of flying one on a 5 hour flight ugly au is by far the definition of Dean when he's flying to Sam and Jess' wedding next to a complete stranger with a weird name and over halfway in they go through turbulence and he grabs onto Cas' hand for dear life on accident but neither of them mind nor mention it and stay that way until they have to unbuckle and get their overhead bags.

I like the idea that Dean loves to cuddle, but he is too shy to ask Cas outright. So he makes up all these little excuses to have Cas close to him. Cas sees right through him, of course, but he's always more than happy to oblige.

Dean's a complete cuddle monster, but 'cuddling' was never exactly on John Winchester's List of Approved Manly Activities (and John never even had to say it wasn't, Dean just knew).

Cas understands, though he's hoping to help tear down the walls Dean's put up around himself, the facade Dean built to try and make his dad proud.

At least in the privacy of their bedroom, Dean is more open with his desires. He still won't quite say the words, but he'll move closer to Cas and ask silently to be held if he needs it, or to hold Cas if that's what he needs tonight.

In public, Dean still makes the excuse that Cas looks cold, or the blanket is too small when they're both on the couch watching TV, or a host of other excuses and reasons why they're practically on top of one another.

At some point Castiel finds some old art supplies (some paints and brushes) in a storage room in the bunker and decides to give them a try. He quickly realizes that he /loves/ to paint, even if hes initially not very good at it. It reminds him of being an angel, in fact its the closest he's felt to being one in a long time, because it allows him to /create/ again. God he missed it so much. So he paints and paints and paints, trying to translate centuries of being an ethereal being onto canvas.

Dean loves them all, of course. They even hang most of the paintings up in the bunker, even the crappy first few where Cas was still learning just how to hold the brush and how to create color instead of mud across the canvas.

Dean even swings by a fancy art supply shop one day and gets Cas a proper easel, a new set of oil paint and stuff for Cas to mix his medium, gesso, and a few canvases. (The saleslady assured him he needed all of it.)

Cas's expression when Dean calls him into an empty storage room to find the canvas all set up... it's magical.
