Oh, I don't think I've ever heard of it, actually! Sounds almost like a reverse Brendan situation, hah

I usually see AU's where Soul's hair turns white or he dyes it for some reason or another, so this sounds like a pretty unique take. As far as the theory goes, I don't feel like it holds up in canon due to depictions of his past self, but it plays well with his design given the whole haircare thing.

Takes me back to an AU I tossed around at one point, though, where Soul was a bit of a delinquent with a Pangoro, but that's mostly to balance out living with his florist grandma.

They look after any Grass Pokemon that end up hurt, so he has a habit of trying to keep an eye on anyone who has trouble standing up for themselves, all while hiding his worrying behind a broody stare.
