Brian watched as Jay traced his fingers down a rather long scar on his forearm, he looked up at the man with the same, tired green eyes. "Having a good time?" He hummed.

Brian barely peeked from in between his fingers, “If someone could shut off the lights, I’d be real grateful.”

“Some asshole ‘cided to flash ‘is light in m’ eyes, repeatedly. Think I strained m’self too, so I’ve got a migraine an’ my back is flarin’ up.” Brian muttered, putting a hand over his closed eyes. “Sorr’ for complainin’.”

Brian had his head over the back of the sofa arm, his eyes closed as he had his arms crossed. He seemed either angry, or just distressed, “I have not left this sofa in five hours. I am in pain.”

Brian smiled and hummed a thank you. The man seemed very tired, but it also seemed like he had a good birthday.

Brian looked up from his book as the phone made a clack sound against the desk, he blinked a few times before looking at who dropped it. “Oh, hello again.” He picked up the phone, “Thanks,”

He quirked an eyebrow at the lock screen when he turned it on, “Where..uh, did you find this?”

Brian looked at the small box put in his hands, “Oh, thank you.” He gently opened it, pulling out a small Rubik's cube, his eyes lit up-- he really, really liked Rubik's cubes.
