There is a reason that Jace beats Leah at every game she begs him to play with her. She has zero poker face, even when she doesn’t NEED a poker face she wears her emotions on her features so prominently that her moves are always predictable. Even if Leah wanted to pretend to be innocent, her face would call her out immediately but at her core she’s the kid that confesses if she feels like she did something wrong. Not only does she confess right away she’s the person that comes to you with a confession and already halfway through a plan to fix or make up for whatever happened. Like “oh mom I broke your favorite lamp because I was kicking the soccer ball in the house, I’m so sorry, here’s the soccer ball I shouldn’t have it for two weeks, and my allowance for the next four months will go towards paying you the cost of the lamp.”

Leah is aware that she is the textbook definition of a goody two shoes. Sometimes for a second she’ll think that she wants to be corrupted. But if the opportunity comes before her she is helpless against her own nature and she almost always turns and runs the other way.
🔫 Would they ever sacrifice someone in order to save their own life?
If Leah traded someone’s life for her own it would be futile. She might as well have died anyway for all that she would be utterly crippled with guilt.
