He always plays classical music. He picks the songs based on the person, the situation, and how long he plans to go at it. And he sometimes works in time with the music, if he’s feeling extra playful.

Ummm…. YES! Tentatively. He’s very open minded but also replies heavily on evidence and logic. 

😍How would they react if the person they fell in love with turned out to be non-human?

Well, if it was in the past and wasn’t Jess he would try to accept it. He’d be less inclined to if it was a vampire or demon and he’d feel upset falling in love with a ghost or angel because both would last longer than him and there would be nothing he could do about it. Easier if it was a fairy, merfolk or werewolf. 

If he found out Jess right now had been concealing the fact she’d turned into a werewolf, mermaid, fairy, ghost or vampire he’d be very upset but he would not stop loving her. Even if she was a vampire (which he’d be most upset about), he would not abandon her. If she was a ghost that would mean she was technically dead and I can barely think about how much that would hurt him - it would hurt him even more than if she was a vampire.

😴 Would they ever choose to die in their sleep? Why or why not?

Yes, because how peaceful is that?! He’d love to die a peaceful death after all the shit he’s been through. But he’d hope when he’s like 90 and has grandkids.

Yes. She would look more or less visibly calm but her body would have the natural fight/flight response if she felt there was danger nearby. If not, then she would just be somewhat nervous but not enough to inhibit her instinct to stay calm and find a way out of that mess as quick as possible.

🐲Were they afraid of monsters under the bed as a child?

Probably briefly, like any other kid. But she'd be brave/curious enough to peek under the bed. Living with her mother didn’t make it very easy for her to be a fearless person as a child. She had to grow into that by hardening herself as she got older.

“it’s a catalogue of modern mistakes.”

A soft humming noise vibrated along the back of her throat as Caroline blinked at the illuminated screen. “Yeah, I guess you could call it something like that,” she finally concluded as her finger clicked against the track pad of her laptop, scrolling down the page of her blog. Up until now she’d never shown it to anybody— not while admitting it was her own work, at least. “What they did, though? I’m pretty sure at least half of it wasn’t a mistake at all. I could tell by the way they talked that every last bit was intentional. That’s why somebody had to give them what they deserved. I just decided that someone was me.” Lean shoulders shrugged. She wasn’t remorseful about airing all the dirty laundry online, only that she hadn’t remained as anonymous as she planned. That was why they were sat in her living room, pouring over the digital accounts of all the people she’d seduced and destroyed. One of them had to be the demon behind her attack. Tonight she was enlisting Harper’s help to figure out who.

He brushed his hair back, tugging at the roots before looking over at her. “Maybe if we had planned this out more… I don’t know… I don’t.” He looked down, sighing again looking very dejected. He hated when he didn’t know what to do even more than he hated failing.

nate sighed, “i mean, if you want me to stop telling you about people i bring home i can do that. i can’t change what i did in the past, but i don’t want to lose your friendship over this.” he valued harper’s friendship more than he had ever told her out loud. to him he was more than someone to cause trouble and blow of steam with, he felt like she understood him in a way other people just didn’t. “don’t hate me because of this, if i could change it i would.”

no, finley would probably be physically incapable of that. she is extremely aware of how her actions may affect other people and she does her best to make sure she never hurts anyone unintentionally. finley doesn’t have a heartless bone in her body.

☾ What is their favorite and least favorite thing about the night?

her favorite thing is how quiet it is, finley would much rather sit in silence at night than have to listen to all the noises that go on in the daytime. her least favorite thing is the uncertainty it brings, it scares her that she may never know all the dangers that lay outside at night.
