◯ Do they believe in ghosts?
Yes she does, and they’re the supernatural entity that scares her the most. The idea of dying and not getting rest or an afterlife is horrifying to her.
★ Do they have a favorite scary movie? Book? Show?
Aubrey loves campy horror movies, like the old school Evil Dead and anything you’d find on the Syfy channel. As for books, she doesn’t necessarily go for super scary, she’s more fantasy and adventure. But she does really love Frankenstein and considers that to be a horror. Her favorite tv show is The Walking Dead and she will talk your ear off for an hour.
☾ What is their favorite and least favorite thing about the night?
Favorite thing: NO SUN.Least: That time where the sun has just set, the sky is still somewhat light but the ground is dark, when it feels like something is ending.
☠ Do they fear death?
Hek yes, above all else.
▼ What is their greatest fear?
Being useless, probably. He doesn’t have a lot of purpose in life to be fair, and when you live for over a thousand years you get stuck in the same routine a lot I imagine. So wherever he goes, he tries to be useful to someone, usually someone like Catherine but even in a small town life, if he held no connection with anyone, he’d move on pretty fast because he fears being unneeded.
✿ Would they ever trust dark or wicked magic?
As much as it would be a conflict, I don’t think she’d trust it, but she’d depend on it. If it was for something she’d need then Jess wouldn’t be above giving it a try. She’s one of those people that will, when desperate, really go to drastic measures. And it usually will bite her in the ass.
☎ How would they react to receiving a phone call from a deceased love one?
If she got a call from one of her parents she would likely lose herself completely. Because her parents were never very openly compassionate, ever since their deaths Verina has tried to stay strong not knowing that it’s okay not to be okay sometimes. I think even just hearing her mother or father’s voice would overhwhelm her, cause her to let loose years of bottled in hopelessness and fear, and it would just be a big crying fest tbh.
