Yeah you’re right, its just surprising how much one can overlook or repress! Really helped actually talking over it with someone, taking a note of it all and going “huh...” Think the conversation was long overdue, and almost didn’t happen but our mutual friend was aggressively correcting his pronoun usage but I hadn’t actually mentioned to it to him directly so he just asked me where I stood identity-wise and the floodgates opened. It was also interesting to see how much my friends had noticed where I had not.

And thanks I hadn’t heard of that, that seems quite possible (probable?) at first glance at least. I must say I’ve been neglectful in terms of research, which I’m also kind of surprised at myself for (exRoommate had actually done a lot himself though at least, but hadn’t mentioned that)

You’re right! I shouldn’t beat myself up about it, at least I’m here now, just like other hiccups I’ve had in terms of school/work etc. I really appreciate how supportive everyone has been! <3

weh ibs solidarity ;v; i take probiotics and have some pills i take for stomach pain and cramping (buscopan) when i need them but there's not really any meds available here for it i don't think... what do you take?
