Mr. Black With Two Sugars || Coffee shop AU

Loki really never had a particular interest in coffee. He was more of a tea person, preferring the lighter taste over the rich bitterness of the seemingly more popular beverage. But..perhaps he could grow to tolerate it. At least that was his excuse as to why he would visit the local coffee shop each Saturday. To others and himself. And oh he did try to smother his true reasoning, brush his absent thoughts to the side. Of course it was only for the coffee. Plus the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. It was quiet, a nice place to visit on a rainy day and read a little. It was all true. But..

Loki flipped a page of the book he was currently cradling in his hands, nimble fingers working with ease, finding solace in a motion so familiar, though he was hardly reading. ..But.. From his seat at the small cafe table Loki couldn’t help but glance at one of the baristas currently on staff, his actual reason for being there. The blonde laughed as she chatted lightly with her co-workers as they went about their business, grinning brightly. Rose.. All that he knew of her was from her name tag, because he had always been too wary to actually approach her. He sighed to himself. He had never been one to nurture these kinds of..feelings. But there was just something about her that was particularly intriguing. It was dangerous territory, perhaps, but well..he had never been very good at playing it safe.

                                                       "Did he really?"

As Tom goes on about his friend's antics, Rose finds herself bursting into laughter again and again. Few months in, and Rose doesn't find herself regretting taking on this job at all. She'd been nervous at first of course-- anyone would've been when first starting out. Her co-workers were her age though, and all very welcoming. Catching the eye of the customer by the window, she stares back for a few moments,  almost as if in a daze before she shakes her head, clearing her mind. "I'll-- be back in a bit." She murmurs, excusing herself from them. The blonde moves to pick up the coffee pot sitting on the counter, checking her appearance in her reflection by a window before making her way towards the customer she privately refers to as 'Mr. Black with Two Sugars'-- his standard coffee order. Why? Why did it matter how she looked? Honestly, Rose isn't sure.

Taking a deep breath, she moves towards the table. "D'you need a refill, then?" Almost instantly, any nervousness she harbours disappears, replaced by the confidence and charisma she puts on when around customers. "You've been sittin' there all morning now-- think tha' cup of coffee won't suffice. 'Ere, this one's on the house, since you're a big portion of our income every month anyway." She added, a tad teasingly as she referred to how often he visited.

Character in general: Baby Loki is just ugh, he’s so adorable.How they play them: Wonderfully well! From the thread we have going anyway and what i’ve seen :3The Mun: Mun is adorbs too!! She is my Radish, and I, her Potato.

Robin had been absentmindedly reading and not taking much notice to the prince resting his head on her lap. She had thought he was reading as well until she looked down and saw that his eyes were closed. “Umm…” Robin said softly, not being able to decided if she should wake him or not. She whispered again. “Are you awake?” When he didn’t reply, she figured he was. Or he was playing a trick on her. Either way, she didn’t want to risk waking him up.

Ally looked up as she heard the ceiling cracked, but she wasn’t surprised. Tony was doing experiments all the time, so cracking ceilings were no oddity. But, when Prince came crashing onto the end of her bed, she yelled out in surprise. “What the hell? Are you okay?”
