How are NSR dealing with the Sasas in the urban fantasy Au? Maybe the mystery mural man's behind it?
NSR's way of handling the Sasas is trying to do as much damage control and keeping their existence from being public knowledge. For the most part, they've managed to hide the situation, but the numerous blackouts and sometimes even property damage the Sasas cause while feeding are escalating.
By the time Zuke arrives to Vinyl City (about 2-3 years since the first Sasa appearance), rumors about monsters that feed on electricity are spreading among the citizens. Many people are already frustrated by the growing amount of blackouts (half because of Qwasa output and half because Sasa activity), so there's an uneasy air in the city...
I actually forgot about Mystery Mural Man, but he's not responsible for the Sasas! In this universe, he used to be a friend of Tatiana's and a former NSR artist (he also knows she's Kul Fyra). But they got into a disagreement over how Tatiana was handling both the music scene of Vinyl City and hiding the fact there are energy eating monsters on the loose, so he left. Ever since, he's been trying on his own to figure out where the Sasas truly came from before things get really out of hand.
