Because you have so many asks to answer, I'll add another one:
What degree of choice do we have regarding gender identity, pronouns, and gender expression? Could the MC, for example, identify as nonbinary, use traditionally masculine pronouns, and present in a traditionally feminine manner?
Hahaha, right after I posted twelve more asks popped up. I guess I asked for it. The customization for the MC is actually quite extensive. Within the prologue you are given the option to choose your pronouns, appearance (gender expression, looks, makeup, body type, sex organs, clothes, etc.), and species (Drake, merrow, nag'i, and human(?)). As well as three preset appearances. (Who, if not chosen take on a different role as the three souls). In chapter four, you can also choose for the MC to transition/change their appearance. No one will question it, nor belittle the MC for the decisions. As a nonbinary person who struggled with their gender identity growing up, I wanted to give readers the option to play The Forgotten hero however they wished.
So, to answer your question: yes, the mc can be nonbinary with masc pronouns and a more feminine presentation. :)
I hope that helps.
