Celina sat in the college hall library pouring over every genetic book she could find. For years she had been on the run, constantly moving and switching schools all because of these powers she couldn’t explain. They came a few years back out of nowhere with no explanation and now her life was spent battling to have a normal life and fighting to stay out of the clutches of those who wanted to turn her into a guinea pig. The young woman ran a hand through her newly dyed brown hair. There had to be an explanation in one of these books. There just had to be.
