The only one ask to Helob/Sozo I've been asked, so for now the only one I'll answer. Others will wait. Loooong wait.
It was asked to me by Titatotrix before I went on vacation, but I didn't have time to draw all parts of an answer to it. For last half a week I was getting ready to finally scan them… I'm so burned out...
In my bad translation: "To Helob?
Have you ever thought about cutting your fur/changing haircut?"
Well, when it comes to changing the haircut, it will be hard - cuz Helob has no hair here. Like most spiders male and female - I'm bald. That's why spiders like to wear various headgear, hats and other head ornaments, yes, yes…
But if the nice lady wants to know if Helob ever thought of cutting his fur… Well, spiders have thick fur, yes, yes… for female they're very fluffy… And a lot of stuff gets in, yes, like blood, like bones, like leafs, like sticks… But for important reason, no bathing for them, no, no… So most spiders shave their fur once a year, hottest season, yes… Some of them wear clothes then, yes, generally spiders don't like clothes, no, no… Clothes are not good. Spiders don't breathe with their mouths, so clothes are bad for them, they suffocate them… but some males don't feel comfortable without fur, so they wear airy dresses, tunics… For example, the husband of Helob's favourite cousin Sheela, yes, yes, Oberion, whenever warm winds blow from the desert, shaves his fur to skin and then wears a blanket with a single hole on his head, yes… waits weeks for his fur to grow back…
Helob doesn't like that.
When he was a little hatchling, mother used to catch all the sons and shave them bald once a year, yes… But Helob left home… he wanted to do that at first, but then he noticed that not every spider does, no, no… Female spiders never do, no, female spiders smarts… and they have less fur, not so thick… So they only clean the fur, yes… And Helob thought he would clean his fur too. For a very long time, so long time ago that the head of the Great General Shamura was still whole - I didn't shave my fur, never, no, no… Once a year, the Cleaning Ritual, yes, yes, Helob pulls out everything that doesn't need from the fur… More than once a year, he puts corpse eaters in the fur… Such small, lovely corpse eaters eat everything bad: dirt, blood, they clean Helob's fur of everything bad, yes - and then there's a snack for Helob, yes…
But recently fur is dirty again, yes, fur is dirty… I'll have to let the corpse eaters in, yes… Shame for ol' poor Helob for messing it up so quickly… New moon and a little more ago, had a Cleaning Ritual - and already so dirty… shame, shame for me… But Helob has a lot of tree-climbing and walking recently, yes, yes… a lot of nervous snacking too… Helob has to clean his fur again… Ha, ha...

I don't answer questions for other characters at the moment. Especially Heket, your annoying questions disgusted me - and it's really a great "success" when someone is able to disgust me and makes me not feeling good with one of my favourite characters :/ So: thank you all very much :/ Keep it up and you'll make me not like Heket anymore - though maybe that's what you're aiming for? :/
