5. What are their chief tension areas?
There are no strict places on Magdalene where she holds stress, certain types of areas flare up do to other reasons. Like under stress, Magdalene caries much of it in her shoulders. They slump under the weight of having too much on her plate and unsure how to accomplish it. If she goes on for too long, it becomes an excruciating pain that could take days to fix. This isn’t helped by her tendency to slouch when she is tired. When Magdalene is sad it’s caught in her stomach. She will feel sick, and when it’s as severe as it is it’s like a cat has her throat, where she just can’t speak anymore. Lastly, when Magdalene is upset she often shows it in her head, she will get sad and have many more headaches. Since different stressors bother her differently her emotions are fairly easy to read, Magdalene doesn’t try to make an extensive effort to hide it either.
28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?
Magdalene has no fear for death. As a human she understood it as a part of life and looked it head on most often, now an angel she still does not care. Her life revolved around Him, and now that she’s gone she had no will to live. Without a will to live, one does not fear death. Magdalene will not do anything brash, she understands she was saved for a reason, however she had no clue what it might be right now. She has no way to see the forest from the trees, but she knows it’s there.
29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
Magdalene favors silence, but not solitude. She understands solitude. As a little girl she was left to her own devices when both her parents passed on, as an adult she learned her own silence would save her from others’ wrath. Now, still, she prefers silence. It gives her room to think, Magdalene is one who gets overwhelmed fairly quickly. She’s haunted by many different aspects of her life, and solitude allows the hauntings to run rampant in her brain, however silence allows her to slowly handle the things that incapacitate her. Of late, Magdalene grows restless when left alone because her mind rushes back to His death. It’s something she cannot cope with, nor can she mule it out so often she becomes restless when she’s alone however craves the quiet and the silence all the while. She’s a pile of contradictions currently and doesn’t have a clue to where to begin working them out.
