park ball :: what is your favorite district/location to go encounter wild pokémon?

“haeundae. it’s just like brisbane with wonderful coastal sea with it’s water-type pokemon too! which is why i picked haeundae to live in. it reminds me of home with wonderful city life along the pacific ocean. oh and let’s not forget about the pokemon i tend to find at brisbane river too.”

dream ball :: if you were a pokémon, what typing do you think you would be?

“oh this is tough. i don’t know a good answer for this one. i’ve been told that i am very much like the grass type, very nurturing and motherly. but have been told that water matches me more since i tend to go with the flow a lot and really stubborn. wait… am i allowed to be a dual-type pokemon then? that is if i can’t find one to match my personality.”

master ball :: who was the hardest pokémon for you to capture?

oh, that’s definitely queen. ( * she shakes her head and rolls her eyes as she says this ) i found her when she was still a budew, and i think she wanted me to catch her? ( * there is a rising inflection in her tone, the furrowing of brows in doubt, but rue brushes it quickly away with nervous laughter ) i don’t know… she didn’t run away when i came closer! but she was just… like… gosh, i guess she was just really young? and it was my first time catching pokémon too! but anyway, she sprayed pollen all over me and snorlax and i got such bad hayfever! ( * light giggle accompanies the retelling of the fond memory, but it’s interrupted as she raises her hand and tilts her head in warning ) trust me, you don’t wanna see snorlax with hayfever. ( * and so the laughter continues ) it’s all good now, though. queen’s very happy, i promise!

lure ball :: preferred method of capture? (ex: eggs, fishing, normal encounters, etc.)

i caught most of my pokémon in the wild, so probably that? oh, but princess was given to me when she was still in her egg, though! i won her in a pageant and— ( * she leans forward in her seat as both palms fly forth, and so begin her wild gestures as the memory stumbles quickly off the landscape of her pink tongue ) oh my gosh, i’m never going through that again! i stared at her egg like all week just waiting for her to hatch! ( * she shakes her head and with it, the memory ) haven’t tried fishing, though… maybe we could go together and you could show me sometime?

regular pokeball :: who was your first pokémon and how did you obtain them?

“my first pokémon was garchomp, who was a gible back then, but i already explained how i received him so i’ll tell you how i caught my first pokémon since i never technically had to catch gible. the first pokémon i caught all by myself was zorua, who is now zoroark, who was actually playing a trick on me at the time i caught her and i didn’t know until i tossed a pokéball at her. she was pretending to be a bagon, and when the pokéball hit her forehead she just transformed back into a small zorua and i was … i wasn’t sure what to do since i didn’t know a lot about dark types back then, i almost considered releasing her back into the wild for a few days. she really wanted to stay though, and i didn’t have the heart to let go of her since she was the first pokémon i ever caught. it all worked out though, so i’m quite happy.”

park ball :: what is your favorite district/location to go encounter wild pokémon?

“i’m not saying this because i’m the geumjeong gym leader, but i really like going into the mountains and just seeing what happens. usually pokémon there are fairly strong, which is a good thing in my opinion since there’ll always be training opportunities, as well as good opportunities to catch some nice pokémon. since i’m a dragon type specialist, i’m always on the look out for dragon types there as well.”

repeat ball :: any pokémon you raise multiples of? or, what would you want to breed?

I’d probably follow in mom’s footstep, I wouldn’t raise many of one pokémon, I’d rather take care os those who need help, breeding would come naturally I think. 

cherish ball :: conversely, are there any pokémon that never fails to make you happy?

That would be… Hm, my Clefable and Gengar, and their antics. They’re goofballs, we should focus on training, but sometimes they make me laugh.

“My first Pokemon was Hoopa! I got them whenever I was 16- and I found his lamp in my Dad’s attic. “

great ball :: what is your favorite pokémon type and why?

“FAIRY TYPES! I have a preference alright? I like cute things, and there’s not a single Fairy type that isn’t cute and that I dont want to smother with all my love. “
