Hello, hello Anon! So sweet of you to say hi so warmly. And speaking of warm, it is finally time for me to enjoy my summer vacation! I finally graduated and will now have about a month or so to dedicate to you guys and this page. I apologize once again for having been absent and ghostly for so long, but I am here now. Thank you again to you and everyone for your continued support. Let’s get to this ask! And remember to please take care of yourself and stay hydrated. It will become even warmer soon.
Ryouma Hoshi
- It was around three o’clock in the morning when Ryouma received a call from you. He was snuggled comfortably under his dark blue tartan covers fast asleep, as he usually is, in his modern apartment, during the frigid season. But with the cold season comes melancholy feelings, and you miss his warmth and tender love. So after a bit of hesitation and careful contemplation, you decide to give him a call. You remind yourself that he never minds helping you out, and that was the final push you need to press the call button.
- “Hey sweetheart. What’s up?”
- You tell him that you miss him, and he chuckles, offering his time to talk about whatever it was that you wished to talk about, though you had nothing in mind in particular. He chuckles again, and initiates a conversation about your shared memories. He has always been able to initiate conversation or discussion about anything, with relative charm and ease.
- Ryouma ponders for a moment before recalling when you two visited the zoo together. It was your suggestion, because you know that Ryouma enjoys dates where it’s mainly you two walking around, holding hands, and taking in sights together and occasionally interacting with your environment. He has always been the quieter boyfriend that appreciates the little things, and that is just one of the many things you love about him. Your train of thought was interrupted by his satisfied sighs. You then remember that Ryouma spent a fair amount of time in the big cat enclosures (with permission) petting the wild cats. They all seemed at ease with him.
- He then begins to talk about a recent coffee date you two had in a beautiful part of town, but you begin to doze off, managing to only mumble out the words, “Thank you, and I love you Ryouma,” before falling asleep. Had you been awake, you might have been able to practically feel him smiling on the other side of the phone. He whispers something in return before ending the call, exiting to his phone’s home page, reminiscing about the photo of you two as his screensaver, and turning it off.
- “It’s my pleasure. I love you too.”
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu
- “What the fuck are you doing calling me at this hour?”
- Fuyuhiko, being Fuyuhiko, had grumpily and haphazardly fumbled around on his bedside table to pick up his blaring phone without having had checked who the caller was. When he heard you apologize, he had to take the phone from his ear, open up his sleep worn eyes just to ensure that his ears did not deceive him. He cursed under his breath.
- “Oh shit, I’m sorry babe. I didn’t mean to yell at you. I told you that you could ring me up whenever, and I still stand by it.”
- He takes a breath as a means to reflect on his rash mistake, and his voice becomes gentle. He asks what is the matter, and you tell him that you’re struggling to sleep and that you miss him. He lets out an ‘aww,’ and you can practically imagine him smiling from ear to ear. He states that he feels bad for not reminding you how wonderful you are often enough, and how much he misses you when you two are apart.
- He believes that you are wonderful enough to stand on your own, and that you needn’t miss him. He should be the one that misses and needs you, since he isn’t much of a pleasant person. You laugh a little and disprove his beliefs, to which he gives his sheepish thanks. Again, he sighs because he seems to be needing help more than being of any help to you when you need him. You tell him that you don’t mind.
- “I guess that’s what love is, isn’t it? Choice and a safe place to be. You keep choosing to help me out, and I keep coming to you because you are my safe place.”
Teruteru Hanamura
- “Mmm? H-hello? Oh!”
- Though it is the early hours of the morning and the sun has not even risen, Teruteru still sounded elated (although just a bit tired) to hear from his love. You told him that you miss him and that you love him very much. He chuckles, and asks if anything is troubling you. You decide to be truthful, and tell him that thoughts about him were also keeping you awake. He chuckles even more, and tells you to give him a few minutes and to try and stay awake if you can/would like.
- Moments later, you hear your doorbell ring, and you open it to see Teruteru, holding a few groceries and a few of his favorite kitchen tools. He knows just how much you love breakfast at night, so in the grocery bags you find the ingredients for pancakes (not pre-made pancake flour, absolutely not!), some pork belly (for the bacon), eggs, oranges (for the orange juice), butter, strawberries, chocolate chips, bananas, blueberries (for the pancakes), milk, and the ingredients for syrup.
- You two get to work immediately so that you can enjoy the reward sooner. As usual, Teruteru takes the lead in the kitchen, working at extraordinary speeds to deliver you the best breakfast at night as possible. Thick slabs of bacon sizzle on the cast-iron skillet while eggs crackle in another. The saccharine sweet smell of syrup wafts in the air while the blueberries melt in a pot. And at last, everything was finished.
- “Alrighty! That does it. I’d hope that this cooking session and breakfast is just what you needed?”
Gundham Tanaka
- “(In a sleepy voice) You have reached the fearsome, the powerful, Gundham Tanaka…”
- You giggle, and Gundham gasps on the other side. He asks if you too, were participating in his nightly ritual, though you were very late. Before you could answer, he goes on and on about what his secret ritual entails, and how all his animals gather around him in respect. You listen intently, as you called because you missed him after all, and this was exactly what you missed.
- He pauses, and asks what your reason for calling was. You tell him, and he laughs his signature evil laugh. He is convinced that he has influenced you to miss him through his magical dark powers, but you interrupt him and just say that it is because you enjoy spending time with him and that he is just sweet. He gawks on the other side.
- “T-t-that cannot be! I am Gundham Tanaka, and–”
- He then began to list all the reasons why he is evil and cannot be loved, and you just giggle again, resulting in a defeated sounding Gundham. He gives up, and under his breath, he mumbles that he enjoys being with you too. The two of you then reminisce on dates that you both enjoyed, and being able to hear Gundham’s, deep, genuine, hearty laugh has made your night.
