Hello there! My first post? Of course it was mo guan shan, lol. And I was really nervous, like being on the stage.

Yeah, I have a plans, Because story for 2, 3 chapters are in my head from January and still didn’t realised them :’D.

Sooo... Heya! Do you have any tips on how to create a plot for comics? It's been a while since I've been trying to create one and I still can not do something that pleases me. Thank you for your time and attention.

You gave me a difficult question, Dear Anon, bc the process of forming a plot for fanart comics somehow is creating without my awareness, just it pops in my mind and I am “good idea shiet, gonna draw it”. I can’t tell how it works, I am not sure about it. 

But! When we talk about original comics often I choose one of two starting points:

Starting point one: characters - most often I start from drawing some original character, I like the design and quickly I see who is that person and how they behaves. After that I add other characters and I see somehow how they will collaborate with each other, simultaneously creating a word around them. And that’s a base for my story, somehow story is glued on to characters.

Starting point two: clever idea - often some idea about the story which you want to tell, a short concept which you can fit in one sentence. Out of nowhere for example: our normal world but vampires existing and their blood is appropriate medicine for humans’ deadly illness so humanity tries to cooperate with vampires to obtain medicine in various ways. But the concept can be also about your own goals in the story like (again, random example): I want to tell positive romantic story where female protagonist will be “ugly” at the beginning but she won’t process “beauty” transformation and remain “ugly” till the end of story. And I build everything around this “clever idea” or “storyteller goal” - story, world, characters.

For example, in case of  my Rowanberry  it was starting point two: I read some romantic comics about w|w paris, but I didn’t like so much any of them, so I create w|w romantic short and light story which characters I would like. And lol, that was fucking all. With that on mind I created some first short episodes, sketching them on paper. After that I started to creating more decent concept with composition of panels and dialogues. 

When comes to episodes I somehow always have in mind what I want to say and create composition of panels to visualize that idea, and when I see some panels don’t look good or some dialogue won’t fit well, I’m changing it durning the proces of doing first (I call it “red”) sketch. 

I am not sure if this is helpul at all, I am kinda.. like I said partly not aware how I do my shiet, and these points are something I realised by myself after creating a lot of stories or concept of stories just to hide in drawer and ofc I am not sure if they will work for other people. Still I tried and I hope it could help you in any way!

I like to read a couple different translations of the chapter and piece them together. One of them says seafood restaurant but two of them say aquarium and I really hope it’s an aquarium date

Yes, I appreciate that three or more different groups/people try to translate it, bc I think Chinese is hard to translate to western language. The more versions we see, the more we can understand in my opinion. 

I also hope it’s aquarium and the aquarium topic (already Elthon John sitting next to piano, waiting to play “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”) will be continued. I would love see them in the most typical shoujo style date in a place like this…

(Imagine them in scene from movie “romeo & juliet” with dicaprio, you know which one?..)

P.S. btw I hope HT after his traumatic memories (getting pushed into the water when boat exploded) isn’t afraid of water tho…

Who is Ox: During 20XX, there was a forest fire at Mount Ebott that destroyed many trees but was stopped few days later. Ox appeared after the Fire and now lives in the forest. News reporters try to interview him but he either vanishes or doesn't talk. During the winters, Ox will hibernate where he maintains his heat during the winter with meditation. He will meet Kiln during the summer, where he will go to the local pond. With Ox's silents and Kilns go-lucky mood, they were friends. Ox doesn't talk due to him not knowing english all to well but learns it slowly. He is quiet weak physically, but tried to maintain his ashy form. When a part of his body (Arm or leg) falls apart, he will put leaves on the spot where the limb was missing from and it basically grows back. He looks angry all of the time since that is his neutral expression.

a) i never said he would never top, nor that he has never topped anyone. dude has lived hundreds of years, even if he were a complete and absolute bottom no switching, he would have tried at least once.
