Do we kiss now?

It was seriously cramped in this small little closet the blonde had somehow found herself in. So close that her and the other's face were only inches apart. Though Kise was typically confident around boys and had no problem with flirting, somehow this situation seemed a little... awkward..

"U-uh y-yeah.. I suppose."

"Only if.. you want to I mean."

"I am in love with you— there, I said it"

"Kuro—Kuroko.. cchi?"

Eyes shot open and cheeks were set ablaze by the sudden confession. Her heart pounded against her chest as she stared down at her feet, finding it impossible to look towards the male.

Biting her lip her brows furrowed as she tried to think of something to say, it was often that this happened but Kuroko had managed to place her in a state were she was a loss for words. 

Glancing up she gave him a pleading look.

"K-Kurokoccchi.. you’re not joking are you? I-it’s not a funny joke. If you are teasing me I’ll be mad. I-I won’t for give you."

"Kise, um, happy birthday," he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, looking up to meet the girl's eyes. "I didn't know what you wanted so maybe we could go out somewhere? My treat." [*drops this in here* happy birthday Kise-chan~]

After almost the whole day going by without a single 'happy birthday', besides her family in the morning, you could imagine the girl's surprise and joy to finally hear the words, especially when they came from her senpai. Eyes watering she reached forward to give the other a tight hug, burying her face in his chest.

"Thank you Senpai! Honestly, just saying it is enough, but I won't refuse an opportunity to spend time with you~" She replied, her smile beaming.

"I should probably stop judging by appearances."

"I would hope so, it would keep us out of situations like this one," he whispered to the side shooting her a quick glance. She was young, he’d giver her that, but wasn’t she trained by assassins or something? At least that explained why they were currently cornered by assassins and ninjas. "So, what’s the plan kid?" Wally asked quietly, almost waiting for a response. He wanted to grab her and dash off, but he figured he might see what her response was before taking action.

8. Trying to go to sleep but failing horribly.

"Takao… Counting sheep isn’t working.."

--Blink blink.

"Uh.. Takao? Whats-.. What's up? Is something wrong?"

"Don't go."

"--Eh?"

Blinking the female turned back to male. "You.. want me to stay?" She couldn't exactly so no when he had said it so cutely. "W-well, I suppose I could stay a while longer."

Rain; Aevi

The Stormbreaker had a great deal of respect for the Priestess. Someone who didn’t talk a whole lot, appreciated silence and corny smut books. It was nice to just sit around sipping booze and listening to the turning of pages. Naturally they turned poorly in the rain, they were both soaked and seeking shelter under the modest trees of the Jade Forest. It never rained in Silvermoon, not naturally. Expeditions took them to where it rained.

And for a moment all of the whiskey he had sipped at early went to his head. She wore white more often than not and blonde hairs clung to her face and neck. It was strangely romantic with all of the usual silence filled up by rain and thunder.

So he kissed her. It was spur of the moment and he was sure if she had an actual say or foresight in the manner. In hindsight it was likely a terrible idea and a product of his self destructive lifestyle. But for a brief few seconds soaked bandages wrapped around his fingers were curled against her cheeks and the rain didn’t seem so bad.

Of course reality struck and he sort of blinked abashedly. “That…was inappropriate.” He cough before filling the awkwardness with more whiskey.
