#asks not working

thanks to @aurora-nerin for letting me know! but apparently my ask box is currently completely fucked up? i’ve tried sorting it out, tried removing and unremoving the option to send in asks, but nothing seems to be fixing it?

in it’s current state, at least for me, clicking on my ask link seems to redirect to a “url not found error” so i have NO idea what is going on, and i’m currently trying to figure out some kind of temporary option/fix for y’all so you can keep sending in asks!

Inbox not working properly, apologies ˙◠˙

I have apparently 9 messages on my inbox yet when I open it there are 0 messages and on my activity page there are no traces of those messages. Since it seems they are ghost notifications I will delete all messages there in order to actually know how many unanswered asks I have. If one of your asks was in there, please write something in the comments.

hey guys,

for some reason, my inbox isn’t letting me answer any of the messages/asks i’ve been sent. idk why, i reached out to the support ppl, but it’s really quite annoying. if you have an ask for me, you can dm me, altho if you want to remain anonymous that’ll be an issue. i’m sorry, i promise i’m not ignoring anyone, i just cant answer anything. i’m not sure what’s going on, it shows the number of asks in my inbox, but it won’t let me answer any of them.

i’m sorry, i hope it gets resolved quickly! please feel free to dm me or smth, if you have a non-anonymous question/thought/whatever for me

After readind several posts about not getting asks, I tired sneding myself a few. I didn’t get any of them. So, if you sent me an ask and I didn’t answer it, please understand I’m not ignoring you! I just never got it.

I don’t know if trying again will work or not, but at least try. and you can always chat me up!

I have been notified by a very kind witch that my asks are not working, I am trying to figure out why but could i also get a few more people to test it just to see? I am very trusting but i am also a person that needs to see multiple pieces of data, this would mean a lot to me thank you so much! 💜💙💚💛❤

oooooookaaay so tumblr is messing up again.....

I’m unable to send asks now. like when I open anyone’s askbox I can still switch between anon and non-anon, the “close” button works, but the actual “ask” button is like..dark? you know. I can’t click it. even if I do, nothing happens. I definitely haven’t hit my ask limit today, and I haven’t gotten any email or notification that I’d somehow be blocked from sending asks.

anyone have any idea what’s going on..?
