I made my blogs pretty!

I'm quite pleased with myself. I just spent the past hour making @askseraphinaheart and @askalittlemagic look pretty! ;3 They'll look all nice when you visit my side blogs on your computers now! Go take a peek!

~Sorting Day~

((OOC: Ive been listening to Philosophers Stone on Audio and I felt the need to write Sera's side of being sorted.)) Sera stood in the large, crowded hall with the other first year students. She stared around, a stunned expression on her face. Hogwarts was beautiful! Nothing like she had ever seen before! Her eyes followed the detailed architecture along the walls and to the ceiling. Something odd caught her eye. She gasped slightly as ghosts began to hover around them, chatting loudly. Could this place be any more magnificent? A voice she'd heard on the train before interrupted her thoughts, and she looked ahead of her to see a blonde boy she'd seen a few times in Diagon Alley approaching a boy with circle glasses. Everyone said that boy was very special. Someone by the name of Harry Potter. She had never heard of Harry Potter. Her family shut her away from Hogwarts as much as possible. She couldn't figure out how a boy her same age could be so famous already. Sera's head tilted to the side, gazing at a lightning bolt shaped scar on Harry's forehead. Wasn't that the.... Sera shook her head, listening. The blonde boy was introducing himself. Sera stepped closer, trying to hear them better. "Draco Malfoy" came the blonde's voice. She raised an eyebrow from behind him. Draco Malfoy... What an interesting name. A redhead next to Harry seemed to hide a snicker. Sera found this very rude, to laugh at someone's name. But before she could say anything, Draco snapped at the boy. "Think my name's funny do you?" Sera watched in amusement as Draco defended himself. He went on to deduce that the redhead must be a "Weasley". Sera had heard that name more than once now as well, but she didn't let that distract her. She was intrigued by Draco's comments about "Wizarding Families" Sera tried to keep a close eye on Draco as they were lead to the front of the great hall to be sorted. "A hat? That's how they sort us?" Sera whispered incredulously to anyone who was listening. She heard similar mutterings from Harry and the Weasley boy. A few other first years looked at her, some matching her confusion and surprise, some obviously couldn't believe she didn't know. Sera shrugged and waited nervously for her turn. She thought they were going in alphabetical order by last name, but as H passed, Sera began to worry. Had they forgotten her? She watched as Draco was sorted. The hat barely touched a hair on his head before it shouted out "SLYTHERIN!" Sera gulped, her father had gone on and on about Slytherin, and how evil wizards came from that house. He said they were all snobs, and only let pureblood's in. Sera was a pure blood. She glanced at the table that Draco had gone to. A few pairs of eyes stated back at her. She was startled to hear her name called. Her head quickly turned towards the stool again. Professor Mcgonagall was looking at her, a hint of confusion on her face as well. "Come along dear." She said in a brisk tone. She beckoned Sera forward. Sera bit her lip, and went to sit down on the stool. The hat slipped over her eyes. An almost eerie whisper sounded in Sera's ear. "Hmmm.. A creative mind.. Rebellious... Spirited... Brave.. And loyal..." Sera gulped, listening to the hats words. Was he taking longer on her? Some of the other students had been much quicker. She thought of Draco, and how fast he'd been placed. She was slightly disappointed that the same hadn't happened to her. "Ambitious.. and fiery..." The sorting hat's whispers continued in her ear. After a moment's hesitation, the hat decided. "SLYTHERIN!" it shouted. The hat was lifted from her head and Sera stood up, slightly shocked. Her father's words rang through her head, but.. Somehow this felt right. She looked at Draco as she walked towards the table. He was looking at her, a smirk on his face. He looked impressed. Sera blushed a little, going to sit at the table. She found a seat just across from the blonde boy, who's attention had turned back to the stage. Sera glanced at him once more. He looked at her, smiled, and then back to the next few students to be sorted again. Sera's face was still slightly pink, and she watched the next few students join their houses. This was so odd... Why had her name been out of order? Why had the hat taken as long as it did to sort her? As soon as the meal began, Sera found the students around her to be much more lively than she'd expected. Her father had been wrong. Wrong about Hogwarts. Wrong about Slytherin. They didn't seem snobby or rude to her. Not at all! She ate and listened to great stories all evening. The older students talked about classes and quidditch. Some of the younger students asked questions, but Sera stayed quiet. She listened, catching a few glances in her direction. This felt right. This was her home. Her family.

I made this video last night just before I took my cosplay off. Heehee ^.^ I gave a shoutout to @asktheboywhohadnochoice and talked a bit about Sera. Also apologized for being absent for like 2 months. Er- 1 month actually, now that I look at my videos. And I talk about my most recent adventures!
