Hello, it's absolutely okay! Im fine with answering somewhat anything related to the fandoms Im in/media I consume. If there's something I am not comfortable with, I will let that be known.
I unfortunately do not have disney plus and am thinking about getting a subscription only to binge the season once its finished 😅 but I do know of some things based on clips on yt and some knowledge of the manga its based on.
Id fully watch it with jp va's but am pleasantly surprised by the choices for the eng va's! (ryuji- I mean ace voiced by max mittelman my beloved) Though I am soooooo heavily biased towards riddles and deuces jp va's (Natsuki Hanae is very talented, especially during Riddle's rage scenes and Chiaki Kobayashi has a unique voice for Deuce imo).
I like that they use 'Piece of my World' as the op, it fits perfectly into the strange and magical world of Twisted Wonderland. Also like that they use the dorm's song for the ending ('Obedience' for Heartslabyul) and will prbly change that for each season that feautres a different dorm. The animation for the ending is really nice too. I love the Alice in Wonderland drug trip in the beginning, the scenes are pretty anime-ish but showing baby riddle being tied together with current riddle to show a sense of longing that he cannot have but the others do (reaching for the sky) is a nice touch to show the audience from the beginning that there is something up with riddle.
But hahhhhhh the animation for the op is kinda lackluster 😔 (like the scene with kalim and jamil - the promo for book 4 showed them as the moon and the sun, dark and light its PREFECT USE THAT-) some scenes in the episodes seem so too but honestly, i am almost fine with it because the colors, lighting and just beauty they put in the environments and characters are mwah. ugh everyone is so pretty.
and omg bias towards the two best characteres bcuz of me??? (* ´ ▽ ` *)ﾉ thank uuu. i hope you and your sister enjoy the anime!
