Dancing through life | @asksilentscreams

The blonde young woman leaned against the railing of the dance studio, as her friends chattered loudly. The girls were dressed in simple black leotards with a black skirt and heeled shoes; they would have to get used to dancing in them. The guys wore tank tops and running pants. Odd combination, but it the couple's idea.

It was her close friend's wedding and she had gotten them all eight dance sessions of ballroom dancing. They were preparing a surprise for the guests, yet half didn't even know how to dance. She knew a few moves growing up, but that was it.

Her friend pulled everyone together- both groomsmen and bridesmaids. "Alright, we're going to start soon and to make it easier for the instructor, we'll assign partners. Obviously the maid of honor and the best man will be partners, but Jake couldn't make it because his kids are sick."

As Phoebe called out the other four pairs, Cordelia noticed a tall man with black hair slip in. She found herself staring until Finn and Phoebe ran over to greet him.

"Long time no see, your highness- How have you been lately? It feels like ages since we've last spoken"

"Oh, well, don't take it as a personal insult! It's sort of been ages since I've talked to anyone outside the kingdom. How have you been? Have you finished remodeling your palace?"
