What would you do if Isaac or Meggie were caught smoking?

Is Meggie the only Gilbert you can stand, maybe even like? Is it because she's a child and you find it repulsive to hurt someone so young, or do you genuinely care for her?

I kinda miss you. It's really quiet and normal with you and your family gone. I actually have to go to school now.

…. Well he doesn’t entirely want to admit it, but he misses her, too.A long road they’ve deciphered through. He hated her, mainly because of the family she came from but —— she grew on him.    In truth, he cared for this small child more then he ever would like to admit to himself or to anyone.

She’s lucky to still be alive; that’s Thora’s main thought on the youngest Gilbert, given the war that’s been raging since day one.  Next to that - she’s quite besotted with the girl’s courage and especially courage in talking back to those who could easily crush her.  She sees a little of herself in Meggie; it’s quite hard to not project more motherly instincts around the young girl.

❝Neither are biological and neither are mine. Aside from the baby in Hayley's stomach, that soon infant is from my own. Margaret doesn’t live with me, though she’s grown on me to a caring stage. I believe she’s with the tedious pack of Mystic Falls? Haven’t ‘eard from her in a while. & Isaac contains the ability to take care of himself. Bloody kid just needs entertainment, money, & a sandwich each blimey hour.The future infant, has a biological Mother to help fend.❞
