Hermann bolted awake with a shout, blood roaring in his ears. He sat up and scanned the room in panic. He needed to get out, but no; out wasn't any safer. Besides fear kept him neatly rooted. Oh God what if-!

'Safe.' A collective voice murmured in his head. 'You're safe.'

As if to emphasize the point, one of the smaller Kaiju (who had taken to sleeping in his room) hopped up on the bed and curled into him much like a cat. There was even a chirpy purr.

The physicist instantly relaxed and soon went back to sleep, curled neatly around the thing that used to give him nightmares.

When Reef found Splotch, curled up in his normal nest in the Shatterdome Jaeger Bay, he was not in a peaceful sleep.

Splotch's chest was heaving with labored breath and his head twitched and thrashed occationally with worried and terrified noises. Trapped within a night terror, Splotch was clawing at the ground, trying to run but unable to get away from the monsters in his dream.

"Splotch...Splotch it's okay." Reef said rushing to him and touching his large head. she tried to calm him physically, before gently pressing her mental pressence against his own, chasing away his terror. "Wake up buddy..." she said softly.

Splotch woke, eyes wide and tearful as he looked around in shock. The Kaiju whined and held close to Reef, shaking.

"Had....bad dream....mama...mama fighting and...auntie Otachi and..." he gave a soft tearful bellow as he nuzzled his head into her stomach, wishing the memories away.

((While your character was comforting mine, in their emotionally unstable state my character kisses yours and asks them to spend the night. How does your character react?)) Nebula blushes a little and nods. “Okay. If you really want me to, I’ll stay.”

Splotch looked at her and nodded. "Please..." He said as the Kaijin held her close. "I just...don't want to be alone tonight."

Splotch grinned and held he fishing net in his mouth before tossing it over Sol. "GOTCHYA!" he cried playfully grinning and trying to get the fish net tied up.

*Nebula toddles into the room, yawning widely and clutching Ruby to his chest* H-hello? Is anybody in here? *yawns again, showing off his slightly pointy teeth*

Splotch looked up from where he was working on his letters, seeing the small boy.

"hello." he said happily, sitting up a bit more and looking at Nebula. "What's your name?" he asked tilting his head a bit.

[SMS]We know you said not to clean your room, but it was filthy- also for future reference, hide that in your sock draw and not under your pillow next time.[/SMS]

Splotch blinked and hurried to his room, typing out a reply on his cellphone.
