❝ you sound like a bad guy quinn, ❞ a hopeful sigh that no one else would have to get hurt , just him. she reminded him of . . . her. bag removed from his shoulders , planning to hide his clothes , with his suit beneath ❝ i thought you had a busy schedule ? ❞ steps come to an abrupt halt as eyes met hers before pulling his mask over his head.

@nobleburn asked: Though lacking a Crest - and thus not a suitable marriage candidate - Silas was noble, and conscious of social norms. Most importantly he seemed presently unoccupied. "Silas, are you busy? I was hoping you could escort me to the courtyard for some tea and conversation." Nikolette's tone made clear that she wasn't necessarily offering him the opportunity to decline. She'd never be seen drinking tea alone, lest people believe her unpopular or socially deficient. "I want to know more about you."
While Silas was not close with Nikolette in terms of being friends, he did know that tone. It was the kind employed and often used by nobles who didn’t expect refusal. He had planned to head to the training yard to spar with others from the different houses, but he was much too polite to try and refuse. Besides, there were worse ways to spend his afternoon.
“Sure, I have the time, Lady Nikolette.” He walked over to her. “However, forgive me for asking, but I’m unclear why you would want to get to know me.” Silas was not unaware of his less-then-desirable social status since he lacked a Crest. Aside from that, he hardly thought of himself as someone important to know.
* canon divergent : meredith doesn’t die from a brain tumor. she survives her chances from cancer but peter being missing also takes affect to her health. getting better, meredith does her best to find her son. even when years passed, she’s still looking. the sheriffs department knows her well enough .. asking all the time if they found anything.
