An AU where all of the Beta Trolls manage to become so powerful that they ascend higher than they ever thought possible. They once thought that maxing out the God-Tiers was as strong as they would ever get. They once assumed that Lords and Muses were the most powerful Gods out there. But they were wrong. Through a method long forgotten, the Trolls become so powerful that they assimilate and become their Aspects entirely.
Karkat is Blood now. And everything that is unique to him, every part of his personality, becomes a fundamental part of the Aspect itself, getting passed down to each of its Players. His moodiness, his cantankerousness, his vulgarity, and his empathy are passed down to every Blood player in Paradox Space, as they become extensions of his being, the line between their consciousness and his razor thin. In fact, should a God-Tier Blood player ascend to far up their ladder, they risk being assimilated by him entirely.
This isn't a conscious decision on Karkat's behalf. It is simply a consequence of what he is now. What all of his friends are now. Where before they were merely Gods, they are now fundamental parts of Paradox Space itself. Their beings, their minds, their conceptual, non-corporeal bodies span all of reality, with their Players serving as their avatars through which they view and interact with it. The Trolls are not merely Gods. Not anymore. The Trolls are now Aspects.
