Last week it was a pair of boats, headed from Port Alberni, BC on Vancouver Island to Fort McMurrary, AB. Charter barge service was required to get the boats off of Van Island and back to the mainland. The boats were 42’ L x 19’10” W x 14’ H and 111,000lbs each, we loaded them on 11 axle units to achieve legal axle loading during BC Road Bans.
