Well I made a start today! I’m really proud of myself, after speaking to my doctor he advice me to take it slow, don’t lift my head up and stick to breast stroke, it should start to help my back, so off I went with my advice thinking il just do my best! I gets in the water and I’m confronted by 3 old women (I felt like I was back at school and I’d sat in a year 11s seat) so they set off 2 walking and one swimming backwards and I still couldn’t catch them up! When I first got in, it was full length swimming split into 3 section FAST MEDIUM SLOW so I chose slow with the 3 women in, I did 8 full lengths of 25 meters before the pool was split in half (not good for my maths) then squeeze 8 half lengths in, I was in a bit of pain so didn’t want to push much more out of me, it’s early days.
