ngl I think this episode just kind of summed up ALL the problems with season 3 and to a lesser extent 2 pretty well: Thomas (and by extension Marinette) think Adrien is perfect, so even when he behaves selfishly and foolishly, he’s still narratively treated like the good guy. Plus, Marinette still has had no development because they don’t know how to write girls rip

that being said I did enjoy lots of bits:

- Adrien’s heart eyes every time he looked at Marinette and Luka. I don’t think the latter was intentional, but they were there

- the end card, with Luka and Adrien back to back with a heart between them. I don’t think the implied meaning was intentional, but it was there

- Alya pointing out that Luka and Adrien have to choose if they want to date Marinette. Alya has been... eh recently - she’s kind of a toxic friend - but this was very astute

- Kagami

- Desperada’s design is HOT as hell

- Rose protecting Juleka god they’re so sweet and I’m so bitter over the “bff” comment from the last episode, I mean what?? they’re dating
