Spades conversation came up with my mom recently
Me:
Aye mom i saw some post online talking about how alot of black folk refuse to teach you how to play spades. You know how to play?
Her:
The hell? Yes i know how to play spades! Do yooooooou know how to play spades!?
Me:
No not really damn! I only learned the basics in the last couple years. Why you gettin all puffed up?
Her:
How you dont know how to play!?
Me:
I said not really. But you never taught me and we wasn't around family like that. And when we was, i was watching people kids not the card game.

well you shoulda learned.
Me:
I have one simple complaint directed at whoever handled the new UI design: If your idea of a creative, breath of fresh air redesign is to take something everyone is use to and apply a 180 degree turnaround to it, Fuck You.
You clearly should've flunked out of whatever design class you took when you completely ignored the user end experience, the familiarity and **muscle memory** they've built up, just because you confused "different" with "creative".
And an extra fuck you if you just think it'll be fine "once everyone gets use to it." Just find another job.
