Assassin Au~ Chapter one
Warnings: Remus, fire, lying, Deceit Word count: 314 A/n: I’m sorry it’s so short. But I’m posting a second chapter today too so Yay! ~Alex
Three people stood in the forest, just outside the palace. There was a short one and two taller people. The short one held out their hand, three straw tips sticking out the top.
The one in dark messy green grabbed a straw first. “Yeeesss!” The other tall one took another, rolling his eyes. “This shall be easy.” Finally, the last tall one opened his palm, the longest straw facing back at him. “Oh..did I really have to get the heir?”
A short cackle came from the short green one. “You snooze you loose, Virge!” He grabbed a mace and rubbed dirt on his cheeks, smirking.
“Remus, shut up.” The yellow one sighed, tilting his hat back.
“Dee...you don’t need to be so mean...” Virgil bites his lip. “In and out job, get rich and get out forever…”
Remus, as the green one was called, nodded. “Yep! Good luck with your jooobb~” He practically sang before sinking into the night. They had all gone with different methods, Remus would go with the classic break and beat. Virgil was going undercover as a maid. Butlers didn’t go in the princes rooms often and he didn’t qualify to be in the royal guard.
Dee was, well. You’ll see. The formal clothing had been abandoned in favor of old, dirty broken rags and mud had been rubbed on his face and arms. He ran up the wall, falling on the other sound with a small “oof” which the youngest prince heard.
The crowned fool ran over, worry clear in his eyes. “Are you okay?”
“Y-yeah…just kinda cold...there was a fire...I got abandoned...”
“Come inside! I’ll get you a room and you can change out of…*those*” The disgusted look on the princes face showed just how much he hated the dirty rags as they both entered the castle.
Phase one, infiltrate the palace, done.
