Assistant Controller
Adecco Professional is looking for an Assistant Controller for our client in Toronto, ON. If you are an experienced, driven individual looking to join a fast-paced growing company, this is the Assistant Controller position for you!
This position is full-time in nature and temporary to start with the potential to extend or even become permanent for the right person. Some of the duties and responsibilities for the Assistant Controller job opening in Toronto, ON may include, but are not limited to;
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
Ensure transactions are in accordance with IFRS; this includes review and analysis
Work closely with internal staff in other Provinces in relation to the role
High level budgeting and forecasting and reporting key insights and costing to stakeholders
Financial modeling, P&L, cash flows
Review work prepared by team members; help prepare where needed
Develop, update and maintain internal controls and policies/procedures
Collaborate with various departments
Testing of ERP updates
Other responsibilities as assigned and as uncovered
Some of the qualifications for the Assistant Controller job opening in Toronto, ON include but are not limited to;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate accounting
Experience working with a publicly traded company; preference to manufacturing/CPG
CPA designated
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
Highly organized, ability to prioritize, excellent time management and a strong multitasker
Self-motivated and driven to make strides and improvements
Ability to work in a team and combine leadership skills
