3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?

Is the lack of a writing ritual considered cursed, because I'm not too sure I actually have one. I can tell you that I almost always have some form of music playing when I write, and I've been trying to form the habit of working on first drafts for a while to loosen up my brain before I then switch over to working on more finished chapters and pieces, but apart from that I have nothing that could be considered a ritual.

To be able to knock out first drafts at a faster pace. I'm something of a slow writer, and it's much easier to come back and make progress on writing if there's actually something down on paper or screen to work with, y'know? It doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to exist.

To be able to choose when my motivation strikes, because quite often it strikes when I'm in bed or in the shower, or doing something else that doesn't let me get to writing. I know that's something I can work on myself by training myself to write even a little when I don't have motivation or inspiration, but a person can dream.

Speaking of dreams, the ability to remember with perfect clarity the ones relating to things I'm writing. I've had a couple of Nefarious related ones, but I can never remember them clearly after waking and its the most annoying thing in the world.

16. What's the weirdest thing you've ever used as a bookmark?

Actual bookmarks, rulers, receipts, vouchers, I don't really use anything that I suppose could be considered weird as a bookmark.

At the moment I am using both a pencil and a rubber to keep my place in my Sudoku puzzle book, would that count?

& i feel like its always unimportant stuff like “how do u have your coffee” which puts me off even more sob. like people never tell you how they have coffee?? makes me feel like i should already know
