Made this for my good friend @suedoodle, who suggested a crossover between Mario and Asterix as an art trade. My part consisted of drawing Cacofonix interacting with side characters, namely the goombas. Hope you like it, Sue! 😄

je pourrais dire « votez pour lui » juste parce que c’est un personnage récurrent absolument pathétique qui convient parfaitement à Tumblr et qui est emblématique de la France dont le coq chante (très mal) les deux pieds dans la merde. Mais assurancetourix c’est bien plus que ça. C’est un héros. Il a sauvé un pays entier de la sécheresse par la seule force de sa voix et ça ? Ça c’est beau.

Assurancetourix est une INSPIRATION. Malgré les critiques, malgré l'opposition, il continue de pratiquer son art sans jamais abandonner, sans jamais douter. N'importe quel artiste sait à quel point c'est difficile de ne pas se sentir décourager et déçu par ses créations, mais Assurancetourix, ce CHAD, lui il persévère. L'artiste incompris à son paroxysme.
