Unpopular opinion: tired af of the ”jedi order discourse” haha (partially cause no one brings up the meta perspective, like narratively speaking the jedi order is fundamentally flawed/stagnant/out-dated, therefore it cant survive or deal with an anakin shaped problem)

strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree Agree:  I am so tired of Jedi Order discourse oh my god. 😂 Agree:  Because “we gotta get to the OT”, nothing the Jedi did or didn’t do is going to change the course of the story. Disagree:  Narratively speaking the Jedi are fundamentally right about how the Force works, they reflect GL’s views on emotions and teaching, as well as they were put into a position where they had no good choices in the war, that them being stagnant would not have ended in the explicit murder of their children if that were meant to be the takeaway.  Also, GL has been incredibly clear that Anakin’s fall was his own issues, due to his unwillingness to live without the people he wanted to possess, not anything the Jedi did. Like, my position isn’t to defend whether or not one thinks that GL’s writing is good or not, that’s an entirely separate conversation from what the narrative intended, which is what we’re speaking of currently.  And, of course, others are free to disagree, none of us can actually know what goes on inside the creators’ heads of anything, but I’ve found this to be pretty consistent and clear in what GL has said about SW. 😃

i think i saw s01 back in the day, but i started over again like....before yesterday? done with s01 and seen 3 episodes of s02 so far (this season has been disappointing so far tbh) so ofc I had to reblog some gifsets haha and ofc it had to be of Aramis! LIKE i get your thirst, ‘cause same.

Vader ABSOLUTELY kept the robe and Obes’ lightsaber. They DEFINITELY are tucked away on Mustafar at Dramatic Bullshit Manor. NO ONE WILL EVER CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE EVEN IF CANON LATER CONTRADICTS ME.

I hadn’t thought about the fact that the robe would be charred in some places, and now my feelings hurt.
