This is a photo of Rika Suzuki (writer/designer for Hotel Dusk) and Masaya Hashimoto (director of the first three Ys games) standing next to Kuidaore Taro in Osaka in 1986. You won’t normally expect to see these two game developer together but back in the 80s they were both known for creating adventure games. Hashimoto had just released the sequel to Asteka at Falcom and Suzuki had just released her first major hit, a detective title called Murder Club.
