BARRCHEL FOR THE HALLOWEEN MEME
(Halloween) Give me a ship and I’ll tell you who: ( not accepting ).
Chooses the pumpkin: Rachel. She picks the one that looks most like a star, followed by her -always- spoken quote, Metaphors are important, you know.
Carves the pumpkin: Does it count as carving if they poke a few holes into it so that the candlelight can be seen through it? Maybe shape it into looking more like a star.
Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: Rachel clings to Barry, who has to act like he isn’t terrified of the haunted house, himself.
Matching costume idea: Probably something theatrical or musical, dedicated to one of Rachel’s many adored singers.
Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Rachel, but she always ends up getting Barry’s help because of her height compared to his - he can reach things, whereas she can’t.
Steal’s the other’s candy: Rachel always dips her hand into his candy bag for a few of her more liked sweets because she doesn’t often indulge in them because of her dental hygiene, so they exchange sweets in the end (Barry’s favourites for Rachel’s).
Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Both of them. Rachel will insist that she knows where they’re going, up until the point that they get separated because Barry thinks he knows better - which results in them spending the better part of an hour shouting at each other to try and find their way again.
Tells spooky stories to scare the other: 50% Barry, 50% Rachel. Barry doesn’t necessarily do it to scare Rache but more-so to make her laugh. He always makes up the ending into something ridiculous to see her smile.
Collects cool-looking leaves: Barry. Though he always manages to rope Rachel into helping and they make the afternoon of hunting down leaves.
