hihi!! i read your thinkpiece on race changing within the shifting community, i'm not really here to discuss any of the takes you had, but there was something in specific that stuck out to me in your post (which i wholeheartedly agree with)

this!!!! it shouldn't be something that is just swept under the rug. racism and hate speech are already so prevalent and normalized (especially on shiftblr) in the shifting community... to have white ppl as well as other poc downplaying the feelings and opinions of poc shifters who are speaking out about something that is collectively "weirding out" a group of people is not something we should be normalizing?? is that not just another microagression????? if you are someone trying to "move on" from the topic,,, fine. go for it. but don't try to make that decision for the entire community? to make a post trying to goad people into ignoring the topic is literally silencing poc voices.. an issue that we already struggle with online.. if you don't want to hear about it just go scroll or put it on your filtered words or something don't try to play the "i'm woke because i believe anybody can do whatever they want" card as if you're not literally telling people to shut up because YOU personally don't want to see it on your dashboard.. right right..
&& i definitely agree that there should be a more nuanced discussion on the topic of race changing because the poc experience is built upon more than just?? skin color??? it's a multifaceted background dealing with politics, culture, gender, sexuality && more.. you can't just cherrypick when it comes to these sort of topics... imo everyone needs to get more educated now!
HIYA :3 also I AM SO THANKFUL YOU SENT THIS ASK. because im seeing people ARE STILL doing this 😭 “idc what you think of race changing” I DONT EITHER OH MY GOD MY POST WAS JUST ABOUT WHY POC MAYBE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH RACE CHANGING. i never EVER tackled rather its good or bad, people can be SO aggressive with not seeing it like you are NOTTT doing anything good for making a post into literally silencing pocs voices in the shifting community, like i already felt like i created problems just for speaking out even though i know i didnt lol. this is literally a SERIOUS topic, i was also wary of answering this ask but i didnt want to ignore you so <33 but like EVERYONE in the shifting community needs to be more open minded and educated (especially the fact we are LITERALLY shifters)… on more nuanced discussions within the shifting community, okay, i get it. YOU don’t want to see it on your dashboard, but don’t make posts about how you DONT want to see it??? that just makes you look ignorant && arrogant… just quietly block. (again, i don’t care about race changing, im fine with race changers/pro race changers. some of you guys are just VERY weird when some people are uncomfortable with it or who WANT to talk about it) this isn’t some “discourse” as people think it is. but also again thanks so much for this ask because as you can tell i was getting fed up LOL.
