Known as the food of the gods, Ambrosia, was once a wood nymph. Lycurgus (a mortal Spartan general) and Dionysus (grapes;)) were fighting one another (probably over a spilt drink or a woman *eye roll*) and sadly she found her way into the middle of their fight. After being bludgeoned, her wood nymph body transformed into a vine (lowkey makes sense). Allegedly doves brought bits of her body - the vine - to the gods who ate it/her (wow Christianity steals all things am i right?). Now it is thought to be the source of their longevity and immortality while also being staple food in Greek mythology - Hebe and Ganymede served pieces of her at many heavenly feasts to come. IN MY OPINION Ambrosia in a chart can show you a) your relationship with nature, b) how nature can transform you, c) what kind of fights/arguments you find yourself unintentionally getting into, d) how you are honored, and/or e) what can extend your life were you to activate the asteroid accordingly.

and once again i encourage you to look into the aspects of adonis along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced, take a look at the persona chart of ambrosia AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede her in your chart!
OTHER RELATED ASTEROIDS: dionysus (3671), hebe (6), and ganymed (1036).
