He could have left the bar and he wanted to, many times he tried to make his way out. But every single time, he would find someone on his way, people that would force him to be social and it was slowly tougher to pretend he wasn’t frustrated. Isaiah had only placed himself in such social activity as a social planner because of Anna, it felt the right thing to do, he was living for her even if she wasn’t there anymore, and that was the only reason as to why he was paying attention to his old neighbor, who would talk about Anna, the perfect job she did as an event planner and how he was doing the same thing. He listened to it over and over again, until she finally reach the point of wanting his services. At least that would give him an excuse to stop the conversation.
“Here’s my card, call me so we can discuss it in a place where bad singers won’t be louder than our conversation,” he shared a smile. A fake one, before grabbing his beer and making his way out again. He had heard someone calling him and that’s when he saw Ryder, and he was sure Ryder had seen him too, or hoped for it. }It would be easier to end a conversation fater with Ryder than whoever wanted his attention. Making his way until the man, he looked at him. “Please tell me you are here for fun, nothing related to the club and events.”
