Caleb: Hey cuz.
Caleb: Have I told you just how grateful I am for all you've done for Nic and I?
Caleb: I love you, Saw.
Sawyer: No, but I love hearing it... or reading it. And it's the least I could do. I just want you two to be safe and please keep me updated about Nyx.
Sawyer: I love you
[call] Sawyer R.
Audrey: "It's fine. I'm not his mom or anything. I just- Well, it's just scary how quickly things can change. But they're okay? Or they will be? They're not like I was. None of them is critical, right?"
Sawyer: "But you are his friend, it's okay to care..." She replied, taking a second to listen to Audrey. "Caleb is okay, but Nyx had a sacral fracture and will have to go through recovery, but it's a quick one. She just needs to be... patient."
He loved seeing that smile on her face. From losing their parents when they were too young, to having the life that Sawyer had always wanted to herself, he couldn’t help but to smile, because he had helped her to get there. Sure, people in his shoes would have loved to take full credit in these situations, but he knew that it would be wrong, because Sawyer made her own destiny. She knew what she wanted and she fought the hardest to get it. Besides, the Rathbones had a way of making themselves known for their hard work in anything that they set their minds on, so he knew that his sister wouldn’t be different. “Is that so?” He asked, smiling at his sister as he moved one arm over her shoulders and pulled her closer, planting a kiss on the side of her head as they began walking down the sidewalk. “As long as it’s a good addiction, that’s fine by me. Hey, maybe we’ll have another Rathbone receiving the Rathbone award? How amazing would that be, sis?” And even if she didn’t get that award, he’d still be proud of her. Of all the things that she had done to improve her career.
They walked in silence for a while, just glad to be in each other’s presences, until they’ve reached the restaurant and Ollie pushed the door open for her, stepping in once she had. They picked a table and Ollie ordered a bottle of wine for them, because he had important news to share. “So… Deanna called me in her office today…” His heart was racing as he looked down at the napkin with which he had been playing. “She’s stepping down from the Helios project to focus on her political career.” He paused for a second there, trying to find the better way to put it. “She’s making me the director of the project, Saw…”
"I hardly think that would happen,” she rolled her eyes about the award. Since she had vivid in her memory the last person who had won one. “They would call it favoritism. But I know I’m awesome with or without the award and so would grandpa.” She winked at her brother before moving her hand to mess with his hair. It was great to spend some time with his brother as they grew older and responsabilities only grew along with it, sometimes the time they would spend would be just a few hours before she would find herself going after her bed to rest her tired body.
It was a great night to be around, almost as if the universe was trying to make her happy that day, the energy she would felt emanating around her gave her a sense of joy and comfort and she was happy, with reasons, she was happy. Taking a deep breath and feeling the fresh air filling her lungs she looked at her brother a few second before her attention was in the restaurant, thanking her brother for his act. A gentleman that many women would be lucky to have around, a thought she would never share with him unless it was utterly important. Sawyer sat, putting her phone on silent mode so no one would ruin their family moment and before she could have any other reaction there were words coming out of his mouth. Words that just like the last three times, had made Sawyer get her eyes widened just like her mouth before she would scream, but this time she had to press her hand against her mouth so she wouldn’t scare the entire restaurant. “That’s great news! Oliver” She raised her tone as she said his name, “I’m so proud of you. You deserve it! Oh my God! You need to stop telling me important things at public spaces, because I feel like screaming and jumping and hugging you and I can’t... I mean I can, but today it’s not about me, it’s about you,” she shook her head, the smile was sitting on her lips, it was so rewarding to heard it all because she knew what he had to face through all these years, he deserved it all and so much more. “High five, Dexter.” She moved her hand up, waiting for him.

Delphine was currently that person that she hated: the one who’d had the entire time waiting in line to get their wallet out but didn’t until the last minute. So lost in thought was she that it took the cashier’s voice telling her her total to call her back to reality. Fishing her wallet out of her bag with an apologetic smile, she quickly flipped through the various cards it held, but didn’t see the one she was looking for. Slower this time, she thumbed through the cards again but still didn’t see her credit card. With her wallet clutched in one hand, Delphine stepped backwards, feeling her cheeks flush pink, and gestured to the person behind her.
“Here, you can go ahead of me, sorry.”
Once she notice Delphine was in front of her, Sawyer opened a smile, waving her hand at the girl as she moved to make her order. “I want a large cup of coffee and whatever she’s ordering is on me,” she replied, sharing a smile to the blonde woman. “It’s the least I could do. I drink a lot of coffee, so you can buy me one at some point.”

Audrey: "Hey. Sorry if you're busy. It's just that texts about serious shit are like a slow death. Can you talk?"
Sawyer: Leaving her intern in charge of getting the exams, she moved to an empty room. "Don't worry, I can talk at least for the next... ten minutes, I can. I'm sorry you had to know about it through a text."
“It appears… i missed something.” Hugo said, cocking his head to one side and making a bit of a face. “Well, that’ll show me to randomly disappear again.”
"Whatever happened while you were away, I’m sure you used your time wisely to enjoy some other things.” She replied to the man in front of her.

He was tired and hungry, but given the fact that Sawyer had texted him asking if he’d like to dine out because she had just gotten off work and would have the day off until the next evening, it made Oliver extremely happy. Despite not sharing his sister’s tastes when it came to food, he usually respected her and hardly ever ate meat in front of her anyway, so he suggested Italian, since he was dying for some pasta. Also, because he needed to start loading on some carbs as part of his nutritional schedule. He texted her back saying he’d pick her up at their house and they could go to that Italian restaurant their parents used to take them when they were younger and that it was just a couple of blocks away from home. Once he had left the ARC, Oliver stopped by Isabella’s house to drop something off that she had asked, and then moved to his own house, pulling into their driveway and locking his car. Ollie opened the door and let Sawyer know that he had arrived, before stepping out again and waiting for her.
With his hands in his pockets, he looked over his shoulder when he heard the door close and offered his sister a smile, wrapping one arm around her shoulders and pressing a kiss to the side of her head. “Hey. How was work?” With a smile, he lowered his hand to the small of her back, prompting her to walk in front of him, so that he would follow. “Are you excited about your–I don’t know. Twenty-eight hour break?”
It had been a good night, she didn’t know exactly why the starts had alligned to keep her happy that night, but onot only all surgeries she had scrubbed in had succeed, she was able to do more than suction, perhaps she was finally getting on the good side of the neuro surgeon, because by the moment he alowed her to clip the aneurysm and she didn’t do anything wrong, she could fill her body filling up with joy, so once she looked at the clock and shher shift had ended, the first person she called was her brother. She really missed having dinner with him and since she wasn’t on call that night she could enjoy some time with her brother. Her path home and to get ready was faster than she had imagined and once her brother got home she was lying on the couch watching Modern Family.
“Hey! Amazing, your sister is flawless. Beyonce wrote that song about me,” she moved her body up, flipping her hair as she moved her hand against it. The smile was easily on her lips. “I can’t wait for the moment I’ll hold a scalpel again. I'm addicted, Oliver.” A laugh escaped before she looked at him. “But mostly, I’m hungry. So, let’s go!”
“You make a good point. If I’m just feeling like I want a warm body, that’s different. I hate to say it but, I think I might be growing up just a bit, though. Because now I’m starting to wand one whose vocabulary is more than ‘dude’ and ‘are you DTF?’” Juliette laughed, shaking her head at the thought of wanting someone to talk to before and after hooking up with them. That never used to matter much to her before. “The hospital, really?” She looked intrigued while she refilled Sawyer’s glass again. “Are they numbers of sexy doctors or patients?”
“You are doing what’s best for you and there’s nothing to feel bad about it. Truly, we are great and beautiful girls, we don’t need to settle for less than we deserve.” She moved both of her hands resting them on the blonde’s shoulders before she smiled at her. “But, yes. There’s a really cute intern who works with me that I could always introduce to you, he’s a nice and a very polite guy.” As someone who had had a relationship with her teacher, Sawyer was trying not to repeat the act in the hospital keeping herself out of relationships with coworkers.
“I would.” Cece said with a reassuring smile. She’d recalled observing the woman drink, but had lost track of her a while later after she’d found a male to talk to. “Did you ever get together with the guy you were talking to?” If Sawyer remembered that. Hopefully she did, she didn’t want to alarm her. If it was alarming. Anyway. “It’s okay, really. These things happen.” Cece knew better than anyone really. “But yeah, we can still do that.”
"The guy I was talking to...” Her memory was terrible, but she didn’t want to make her image get even worst so she smile and nodded in disagreement. “It wasn’t a lucky night, but at least after I woke up and dealt with my headache, it was a great day at the hospital.” Smiling at the girl, she was hapy she was still up for the idea. “Okay, it’s settled!”

Audrey: That blows. Go find that wall and get some rest. I'm rested and spoiled rotten tbh. But I won't complain
Audrey: Btw I can't find your space cousin. Did he like trip and fall at the gala and now has gone into hiding?
Sawyer: I wish, I really do wish I could.
Sawyer: You don't know? Oh... well, I hope this isn't something bad to do over text but after he left the gala he was in an accident with Nyx. He's okay, he had some lacerations but nothing too bad and Nyx was the one who suffered the most but she's better now, she needs to recover from her injury... thank God, it's a quick one.
Sawyer: I know it's all too much, but I thought it was for the best if I spilled all the beans instead of keeping something from you. You are family... so if you want more details, you can call me and I'll explain everything to you.
