Also, I kinda feel this. I don't eat as often as I probably should. If I had a scary lady like Saber staring me down to eat, I'm eating. I weigh like, barely 115 anyway I should probably down a few cheeseburgers or something.
Artoria is simply...confused.
Eating is very important, if for nothing else than to give you energy to go throughout your day.
Especially in her past life, food could not have been taking for granted. So why on earth would (Y/N) not eat?
(Artoria) "Is your appetite ruined?"
(Y/N) "No, I'm just...not that hungry?"
Artoria's brows furrow noticeably, setting aside one of several plates for (Y/N) instead.
(Artoria) "Besides breakfast, I do not recall you eating at all. It is nearly three o'clock. Please, you need the energy."
As a servant, the wellbeing of her Master comes first and foremost. Even in a romantic relationship, she'd still insist that they eat at last three meals a day, just moreso in an accidental parental tone.
And she is very adamant about it too, no amount of arguing will get her to back down.
Besides, if (Y/N) doesn't make food, then that means SHE will get no food. And that is a BIG no no.
(Mordred) "Eh? The hell you mean you're not eating?"
Mordred is especially confused. She may not have been human in her past life, but that doesn't mean she'll turn down a tasty meal!
(Y/N) "You can just have my portion, Mordred-"
Her eyes twitch in annoyance as she lightly punches their shoulder.
(Mordred) "Oi! You calling me a pig?! Eat your damn food, what are you, five?!"
(Y/N) "...Mordred you're not even eating the vegetables on your-"
(Mordred) "This is about you, jackass!"
No food means no energy. No energy means no mana. And no mana, means death.
Mordred isn't just gonna let that slide. No Master of hers was gonna half-ass even eating!
(Mordred) "You know how good food is in this time versus mine?! Least you could do is chow down and finish the plate you've got!"
Her reaction is essentially the same, platonic or romantic.
Astolfo scoffs at the very notion that (Y/N) wasn't going to eat any more food today!
(Astolfo) "How can you let such a good meal go to waste?!"
(Y/N) "Astolfo, this is like the fifth beignet* we've eaten in the span of five minutes-"
*(French pastry)
(Astolfo) "Not my point, (Y/N)! You gotta keep up your energy, I don't wanna go home anytime soon because you're too tired!"
Astolfo wants (Y/N) to eat for both that reason, and because he's genuinely a little concerned at how little they eat in general.
That's not healthy for a human right?
Regardless, tasty food is only better when shared with friends!
In a romantic relationship, Astolfo gets significantly more pouty.

That was a boldfaced lie, but that wouldn't deter him the slightest, even if they did know it.
